If you asked Ragnorak what he believed was his greatest strength, he'd probably tell you to mind your business and get out his sight. However if pressed, he'd more than likely tell you it was his mind. Ragnorak, though he often found himself resorting to simple ideas and easily thought up solutions, he preferred to be inventive when it came to tackling a task and today the task that would receive the full frontal tackle would be the peaceful little planet the maps had dubbed Dagan. With his newly acquired forces that made him a credible wraith, Ragnorak was determined to leave his mark across the galaxy. The transformation from simple wraith warrior to leader of what Ragnorak believed to be quiet a magnificent fleet was a short one so it felt very surreal. He had spent countless years since his birth from his queen serving who took his mother's place, then who took hers, then took hers. He never believed that there would be a point in his life where the big blue creature would be sitting in the throne section of the throne room of the flagship of the quiet magnificent fleet.

Some would cry in happiness at how much they have achieved in such a long space of time, but such emotions were beyond the cold, mechanical monster that sat comfortably in his throne. His subjects gathered around him, soaking in his presence as they worshiped the very smokey biological floor that his feet lazily dangled above. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't so much that Ragnorak enjoyed being worship, though that did have its perks, but more that he was bored of the presence of his fellow wraith and the humans were a nice change of scenery, when the weren't crying out in pain, humanity made very good company. They seemed to know their place and held much more interest than the Wraith warriors that patrolled his corridors endlessly without the feeling that someone was out to knife you in the back, such feelings his got from the more normal members of the species, a feeling that kept suggesting to Ragnorak that perhaps he should get a metal detector installed just outside the entrance to his throne room.

However with all the boring drones, warped human worshipers and backstabbing normals, he become quickly attached to his little fleet and felt they deserved great publicity so he decided that they were going to achieve greatness by punching a hole in the galaxy. Before the last breath of air was exhaled from Ragnoraks lungs, he would make sure that his mark would be left on the galaxy and generations yet unborn would cry out his name in fear. But he couldn't become the boogieman overnight. No sir-ee, he would have to work to achieve his dream of evolving into a galaxy wide nightmare. The journey ahead of him was going to be long, and it's begining would be on the simple planet Dagan. In front of his throne was several holographic screens, each one showed the footage of several microscopic cameras installed behind the eyes of several of his worshipers.

These worshipers, under the disguise of normal citizens from the other side of the galaxy had traveled to Dagan through the stargate. Their mission was simple: pretend to be people from the village of Niflheim hoping to trade with the people of this planet. Niflheim had an overwhelming income of food, far more than they needed, so they decided they'd put it too good use and opening trade routes with other planets. They'd offered meat, wheat and fish in exchange for wood, ore and the addresses of other planets that may wish to trade. There was a small group discussion amongst the people of Dagan and they decided that if their elder visited their village, then there would be a deal. Thankfully Ragnorak saw that coming so he found a small village, dispatched his hunters to remove the population, fix any damage, get loads of food to give the impression that was described to the people. His guise seemed to work and the elder took the first wagon of food supplies along with him.

Now Ragnorak didn't plan to kill the population by overfeeding them to death. Unbeknown to the citizens of Dagan, the food contained a pathogen that would act as a seed, with their bodies taking the part of the soil. The pathogen had been designed to activate two weeks after the person digested the food, and slowly but surely, weird tentacles and roots will sprout from their bodies before slowly covering the village in biological matter, that would usually be shaped into Wraith vessels, however these pathogens were simply designed to grow until they'd covered most of the village, it was also designed to lack the self awareness most versions of the pathogen gave its hosts. The three weeks he had spent waiting had been agony for Ragnorak, he was desperate to learn if his plan worked. He had been waiting on Niflheim as the time passed, and when the time was up, he assembled a squad of fifty warriors, his ten hunters and ten human worshipers, though they were mainly there in case Ragnorak got hungry.

Pathogen is In stage one of it's cycle.

15% of the population is infected initially. For the moment most just are complaining about headaches and other flu like symptoms.
