Description:
Reports are coming in of a build up of Free Jaffa forces after the Goa'uld known as Lanak was slain by his First Prime Hanak. Hanak has been in league with the Free Jaffa for years and has used this surprise attack to rally a cause under him. They now use there slain masters Hat'ak as a base of operations on the planet and have been attacking any Goa'uld presence they encounter offworld. No Jaffa challenges Hanak and his ideals for fear of losing there life to him.

Success Conditions: Kill Hanak by challenging him to Jo'ma'sai'que(Jaffa ritual of leadership, ending in the death of the loser) and attempt to capture the landed Hat'ak which is serving as there base of operations.

Bonus: Send Hanak's corpse through the Stargate to Delmak for a dark reminder to the Jaffa rebellion that all shol'va will pay the price of betrayal.

As Maximus, First Prime of Kash

The stargate began to dial and a large woosh formed before sucking in on itself. Maximus stepped through the stargate by himself. He appeared on the other side as he wast sent through the wormhole. Maximus then exited and appeared upon the other side when the sun shown on his armor. He looked confident and slightly rested on his staff weapon. The gold emblem of Kash's hand glistned in the sunlight. The planet was mostly forest with what could be seen as an ocean to the west. This was no doubt the planet of the rebels. Hanaks Hatak could be seen in the distance. The large pyramid ship stood out of the green forest. There he stood awaiting to be greeted by the Jaffa guarding the stargate who no doubt had there staff weapons aimed at him. " Jaffa, I do not come for war...I come to see the developments of this world."

well the jaffa are mobilized encase you are planning to trick them. Hanak is summoned to deal with you personally. You may rp out his dialog

Maximus stared as the black Jaffa known as Hanak made made his way to the stargate. He had mulitple guards at his side, ten to be exact. The man was strong and wise looking and bore the gold mark of his master. He had turned this planet into a military dictatorship and intended on keeping it that way. " Jaffa!" Hanak yelled and the guards around the stargate lowered there staff weapons and deactivated them. " Who are you brother, have you not come to join our army." He said with a small smile. Maximus walked down from the steps of the gate. " You are Hanak, former First Prime of the god Lanak?" Hanak responded with his grin. " I am Hanak, and I was the former first prime to a false god, a dead false god, one that I slew with my very hands, now again brother who are you, where do you hail from."

Maximus answered " I am Maximus, First Prime of the great god Kash, lord of end times and his emissarry. The god you killed was weak sholva, my god is not such a hashak. I come to offer you a chance to join me and redeem yourselfs to the goa'uld." Hanak became serious, both Maximus's and Hanak's gold emblems shined in the light that came through the forest trees. " You come here and bring your allegiance to the masters of our chains?" He said walking forward away from his personal guard. He looked at Maximus up and down. Maximus knew that this was a tense moment and that an army of over three hundred Jaffa were ready on the other side of the gate if he didn't report back within a day.

Maximus spoke. " I come here not to bring chains but to bring my own wings of redemption from the evil that has currupted your minds Jaffa, will you not hear me?" Hanak spoked quickly. " Quiet your tounge, I will not allow such talk to reside in this place where the free gather. You have tied your own noose fool, kill him." He said before turning and walking away. The Jaffa lowered there staff weapons and were about to fire when Maximus spoke. " Jo'ma'sai'que..." He said. Hanak stopped and turned slowly, his cape came with him. " You challenge me, folllower of the false god do you challenge my power in this place!" Maximus spat on the ground. " Jo'ma'sai'que....sholva!" There were many whispers as a circle was formed around the two. Both of them began to swing there staff weapons as if they were warming up to start swining. Staff blasts were not allowed to be used unless the opponent was downed on his back.

The two Jaffa stared at eachother, both were the strongest of there followers and both knew no weakness in mind or body. Hanak spoke before they were to engage in combat. " I pity you Jaffa, you die for a false cause, under a false banner." Maxiumus replied. " Save your pity for the weak sholv'a, you will dye before me!" The fight was on.

What does Hanak do?

grabbing a staff he challenges you to a duel. "Face me with Honor! I shall teach you what a real Jaffa is." He says as he lunges at you, his body moving with a dodging speed to attack you.

Maximus replied in kind to Hanak. " Sholva!" He yelled before charging at the Jaffa as well, seeking to run into him. Maximus's andrenaline was pumping at a high pace now. He could die in this battle and he would fail his god. If he succeeded he would be recognized as another glorius warrior of the gods. It was either victory or death now. With his might he swung the staff weapon at the mid chest of Hanka hoping to land a blow upon the Jaffa. The Jaffa around them stared quietly, knowing the ritual and its rules.

OCC: Not much to say for attacking ha.

Hanak began to rise to his feet blood dripped from his mouth.

"You are strong, but the will of the Jaffa is Stronger still" he screams as he charges you and sidesteps to miss a frontal attack he instead spins and tags your shoulder which makes your momentum shift he kicks your legs from under you and pounds his fist into your ribcage braking two ribs.

"Not everything is as it seems!"

Maximus coughed as the punch impacted his ribs, he heard the sick crack of two of them and let out a grunt. Pushing him off of him Maximus was able to stand up, holding his side and drawing his knife. " Sholva..." he hissed as he circled Hanak, how dearly he would drive this blade into his enemy. Maximus, First Prime of Kash, then moved in for the kill, throwing elegant slashes with his knife.

The Jaffa rite of leadership takes place between the current leader and the challenger using either Staff Weapons or training weapons.

When Maximus drew the knife and looked like he was intent on using it against Hanak, his Jaffa stepped forward with speed. Several staff weapons struck the wrist holding the knife. If Maximus was a normal man, the wrist surely would have broken. His symbiote, however, would speed the recovery of the bruised wrist. Half of Hanak's personal guard, who accompanied him to the gate placed activated staff weapons to Maximus' throat while surrounding him. There are another five of the personal guard and again another five of the gate guard, as well as Hanak himself. Your odds do not look good right now, in fact fighting could lead to certain death if not handled well. Hanak has yet to say anything about the recent developments, but seeming as he already ordered your death which you interrupted by challenging him, it is unlikely that you'll be able to bait him to fight you once more(although you can try).

As the Jo'ma'sai'que has been made void, the objectives to complete your mission have changed to;
-You must kill Hanak
-Steal or destroy the Ha'tak.

They must be completed to claim success. The reward and difficulty means that it will not be easy.
