Just checking who is actually alive, as well as killing time while I think up my history (and look up a map for Oblivion biggrin.gif).

Anyway, somethings been bugging me. You notice how any site with even a medium amount of rules quickly fades away, but any site that doesn't limit god-modding seems to get members like crazy? Or not even that, but sites that seems to simulate real world environments instead of fantasy ones? If you REALLY want to experience a school or city, go there! An what's up with the Vampire/Werewolf stuff? I've seen sites with so many new rules for them that their not even your classic Vampire or Werewolf, but some sort of super being with no real weaknesses.

Anyway, I will keep this thread active by randomly posting a rant. Expect these daily at most, biweekly at worst (A.K.A. school breaks)

So in other words, a random thread that keeps getting posted in just because. I like. happy.gif

Yeah, I have noticed vampires and werewolves spreading like plague and lycanthropy. It's just general craziness. And though I do sorta endorse the fact that a lot of their "weaknesses" are totally false (read: garlic isn't about to kill anyone, a stake through the heart's gonna kill whoever you want...), steel probably hurts a werewolf more than it has to. Or perhaps not. Who really knows, let them make their own crap up. XD

As for reality-based RPs getting more people? I've yet to join one. Effing boring. I couldn't imagine being in a place with no magic, just humans, and all that crud.

I know, it's crazy. I mean it's like me going to an office and working while not getting paid, or going to school to not get a diploma. What the HELL is the point?!

My primary RPing boards is based of a school. A school where you practice magic, gods attack every so often, and such and such. I'm a rat person there. I think that somehow, it kicks the crap out of reality's school. happy.gif

Those kinds of schools are okay. I'm talking about the RP boards that are Real Life online. Just looking through them to get to the less lame boards (it does take sifting... a LOT of sifting) makes me want to not RP... Although it also makes me laugh on how lame some are.

That RP board better be okay, it's amazing. happy.gif

Now, if I couldn't be something aside from human, and I was RPing... Doing homework and being lectured, then I suppose I'd probably be bored as hell and leave. X3

I prefer Fantasy over Reality rp boards, basically, it's where I can dump my "ZOMG RPG GAME FOR TEH FUTURE" ideas. *Currently studying for Game Design Diploma @_@;*

And yes, places that doesn't limit god-modding usually lives. I found out 3 reasons for it XD

1. NAO WE CANNOT DIEEEE!!
2. I am lazy to think of more weaknesses
3. Dragonball Z style of rping for months!!

As for werewolf/vampire crap...I blame it on the TV shows we have nowadays XD Too much on this kinda stuff.

I prefer vampires over werewolves because I am more attracted to making a humanoid character over one that is covered in fur >_>;

If you laugh at how lame reality RPing is, then you're saying how lame your life is. That's what my fellow ex-rpers at Dark Forest told me =/ It's like how some people prefer to rp Harvest Moon style while some prefer Star Trek or whatever.

And I prefer werewolves because I like fur more than skin. happy.gif

And I'll be the first to admit my real life IS damn lame compared to fantasy life. XD

lol, guess everyone have their own likes and dislike XD

But I have always wondered...Why in hell would silver be used for killing werewolves? Silver's atomic structure is in no different than that of gold or most metal, so why o_o?

I can understand why people turn into werewolves at full moon, but must it be humans? Can't it be direct offspring that don't look human at all? Bleh, and why is it always humans being eaten by all this ebil supernatural creatures??

And vampires, did they transmit a bacteria so as to turn others into blood thirsty creatures? It's understandable why they get burnt in sunlight due to sensitive skins and how they hate the smell of garlic. Why are white ash stalks their weakness anyway? Could it have caused a chemical reaction with their bloodstream? (Vampire bats cannot have traces of mercury inside their bloodstream as it disrupt their radar XD)

It's quite a mystery, so I add in Frosty's ebil fantasia into my rp character regarding all these.

Vampires, are grouped into 3 catagory.

The pure breed, the sired and the gillians.

The gillians are basically mindless blood thirsty, zombie-like vampires that have weaknesses like burning in sunlight, fear of holy water and are easily destroyed like how you would kill a normal human. They're an imperfect form of zombies that was controlled by a sired or pure breed. However, they only suck blood.

The sired are those once again given life regardless of their own will by a pure breed. In order to continue living, they required the flow of life, which is mana. Since mana are easily found in blood, humans were often the preys as the sired live in the same community as the humans. Unlike the myths told about vampires, they need to feed only once a week and requires about 10 litres on feeding days. They don't burn in sunlight, but they do burn away in holy water. They can be killed by physical attacks, if they were to lose a limb or so, it might regenerate within a month or so, depending on how much spare mana is store in them. The sired dies of old age as well, but having more mana will prevent it.

The pure breed, the origin of vampires. Again, unlike what we heard of dracula and his dingy castle, the pure breed don't required blood at all. Blood drinking was only to bring out the full potential of the vampire bloodline and furthur improve it with additional mana. Only the pure breeds are immortal and holy attacks have little or no effect against them. The only ways to become a pure breed is either being born as is, or become affected by the Blue Moon. Only one way existed on how to kill pure breeds, and that is by eradicating them with an outburst of mana.

And there you have it...Vampire fantasy myths for rping boards...It came out quite fast, the only trouble is typing them out XP

Wow, that sounded almost EXACTLY like the description they gave for vampires in an old RP I was in. I think that one probably failed because it was Harry Potter, they made Snape a homosexual vampire, and werewolves were as grossely over powered as the vampires... nobody was a human (except me and they hated me with a passion).

Speaking of Harry Potter...I thought it was quite interesting for the first movie series, but it seems to get worst and worst...Why are there still fans hogging over it? Bleh, that british kiddo that played pothead seems to be a nice kid when he starts out with the movie, but with fame...He is rotting, definitely.

AND YOU DON'T HEARD IT FROM ME!!!!!! >_>;;;;;

*Wary of random fan carrying hammer*

But, for werewolves and vampires to be overpowered is quite normal. Afterall, they're ranked in the top 10 most powerful mystic creature anyway XD *It's noted in most manga I've been reading >_>;;*

Mmhmm...Homosexual vampire >_>, reminds me of someone in Buffy. Actually, they don't hate people who rp'd as humans, they just try to force their will onto them. Hence, a good way to bloody plup them up is to ignore them and slowly build up your character's power before clashing with them.

No, because I:
A: Started as a teacher not a student
B: Was allowed two powers cause I"m human (Chronokenesis and Telekinesis)
and C: Flung them around so much that I got banned for being too cheap.

Although, the C one was technically their fault. I killed ten characters before I was done simply because when I tried to spare them, I was called on account for goddmodding and told to edit. I always sent back, "Do you REALLY want me to edit?" and they always responded, "Yes."

The edit was always much worse than the original... usually involving inescapable death...
