This is an RPG (Role Play Game) based on the Mythical Atlantis. Some may argue that Atlantis is real but as of yet it hasn't been found publicly and will be referred to as Mythical Atlantis until such discovery.
Since very little to nothing is known about the nature of this culture, I've created my own. There is room for flexibility but please be respect and ask me, the admin, beforehand. This is how the history goes:
The Lost Country of Atlantis remains hidden from the new and updating world. She dwells on the bottom of the ocean, untouched. What happened to her, even her own people cannot admit because they cannot remember. It was hundreds to thousands of years ago, as they call it, The Great Tragedy, occurred.
One might ask why didn't everyone die if they are under the sea? Well, Atlantis had discovered one thing no other country had ever found, magic. Of course the New World has created stories and legends about it, but they had never been able to get in touch with it. The Atlantians found it within themselves.
When Atlantis went under, it is said that a group of leaders sacrificed themselves to protect the city. Their spirits and the magic they found within have protected the city and in an unexplainable way save their lives and allows them to live day to day without fear. The country sits on the bottom of the ocean with some sort of invisible force that keeps the water out unless they bring it in. (Think a giant, glass box sits over them and they can see the ocean but the ocean cannot come in.)
You’ve hear the legends about mythical creatures beyond this realm. Atlantis hosts more than just the fish dwelling counterparts of humans, but a greater magic. Yes, this is where the New World came up with such ideas. They were not far from the truth but a battle brews.
Some go to the New World, making themselves blend in and getting valuables, some food, and other essentials and bring it back. They think perhaps they should abandon Atlantis and expose their culture to the New World. Others passionately disagree. Will Atlantis be exposed or will those who love it dearly shed the blood to protect it?
