Requesting Dolls

If you want a doll for your signature/avatar/other graphics but can't make it yourself, you can also request one to be made in our "Doll Requests" forum.

- Create a new topic there, which MUST be your HOL name and ID. Leave the "Description" alone, as that will be where you will know who is making your graphic.

- Doll-makers will post in your topic claiming your request. Dolls have a fixed price of 5 beans per doll.

- For each request, please include the following information:
1. Gender:
2. Skin Color:
3. Hair Color/Type/Length:
4. Eye Color:
5. Choice of Clothing: (ex: Slytherin uniform)
6. Other specific details:

- Once a doll maker has posted saying they're doing your request, PAY the beans to the doll maker who claimed your request. This should be done BEFORE they finish the doll and post it in the same topic. To send beans to the doll maker, you have to have added them as your HOL friend. Once you have done so, click on your Bean Pouch and it will take you to a place where you can transfer beans.
- When your doll is done your doll maker will post it in your topic.

Requesting Graphics

- For graphics requested, create a new topic in the "Graphic Requests" forum.

- Topic titles MUST be your HOL name, ID, and type of graphic. Leave the "Description" alone, as that will be where you will know who is making your graphic.

- Graphic-makers will post in your topic claiming your request AND providing the total beans price for the graphic(s). There is a standard beans price list, so don't worry, they're not going to charge higher than necessary.

- For each request, please include the following information:
1. How many graphics you want.
2. Graphic size(s) in widthxheight (HOL signatures are typically 250x100 and avatars are 100x100) -- If you need other graphics done, just specify
3. Type of graphic (if it's a signature, avatar, banner, etc. etc.)
4. Color(s) you want used
5. Image(s) you want used if any (please link us to an exact picture or a gallery so we have a better idea at what images to use)
6. Text you want on the graphic if any
7. Whether you want the graphic animated or not
8. If you have any other specific notes, add them here

- Once you get the beans price, PAY the beans to the graphic-maker who claimed your request. This should be done BEFORE the person making graphics posts in the "Pickup" topic. To send beans to the graphics person, you have to have added them as your HOL friend. Once you have done so, click on your Bean Pouch and it will take you to a place where you can transfer beans.

Picking Up Graphics

- Periodically check the "Pickup" section to see if your graphic has been created. It should have the same title as your request. So if you posted a topic in the "Requests" area titled "Cassandra Lobiesk, ca313, signature" then you will find the same topic in the "Pickup" area.

- Upload the graphic in your own photobucket/flickr/imageshack account if you have one. It would be nice on the graphic maker's bandwidth if anything. Graphic makers are not responsible for graphics lost if you don't upload them to your own image hosting site.

Rules

Please be respectful to all the people making the graphics for you. If the signature is not to your liking, use some tact and suggest changing a few things without continually whining that the graphic sucks. It never hurts to be nicer to people.

Be patient with picking up your graphics. We will try to get them to you at a timely basis, but remember that things come up and it does not help to be yelling at or poking the person making your graphic. If you still haven't gotten a graphic after two weeks, let me know, and I'll see what I can do about it.

Beans Price

Doll Requests: 5 beans each doll

First years:
Avatars - 5 beans
Signatures - 10 beans
Anything bigger - Up to negotiation

Second years and up:
Avatars - 10 beans
Signatures - 15 beans
Avatar/Signature Combo - 20 beans
Anything bigger - Up to negotiation

Due to several non-HOL members trying to take advantage of the free doll request system, we are sorry to announce that doll requests are no longer free. They will cost 5 beans for each doll you request, and you will have to pay the doll maker yourself with the beans in your collection. Unfortunately this is the only way we can be sure the requester is a HOL member. Thank you for your understanding.

We would also like everyone to pay attention to the request format rules and please use your HOL NAME and ID as your TOPIC TITLE when requesting anything. So no more topics titled "Doll Request" or "Graphic request" etc. If they don't follow this format your topic will get locked.
