(This will most likely be a pretty long RP if we get more activity going. Just follow the template down below. Obviously, no god-modding and power-playing. If you want to bring in more characters, please keep it to a maximum of 4, to reduce confusion.)Legend has it that 7 Holy Messengers shall descend from the Heavens, and grant one access to a Sacred Land. But the one who collects all 7 of the jewels will be the one gaining access! But little is known whether or not this tale is true. Will you begin as one of the villagers from a local town? Or should you be a traveling merchant who searches for the jewels? Whoever you are, prepare yourself. Finding even 1 of the jewels is quite a task...

Two years its been ever since the infamous Robotnik had launched an assault on us, but everything is about to change. Despite this long period of peace annd tranquility, there have been sightings of mysterious explosions and deaths around town. I picked up my sword from the table, and headed for the door when my mother stopped me.

"Where are you going, dear?" she asked."You're in quite a rush."

"I'm going to get to the bottom of these weird happenings, mother."I replied,"It sickens me that this man is still at large."

"Don't worry, Kuya, we can take him down again!" said Aeris, just across the room.

"Yes. Listen to her, Nii-san. Remember, if you have done it once before, you can do it again.." reassured Natsume, patting me on the back.
"Thanks... I'll keep that in mind." I said, opening the door. I walked out, checked my surroundings, and took off...

As I, Jarn, ran through the forest, leaping over fallen trees and storming through water, I heard the cry of a bear cub. I followed the sound, and then heard the laughter of a man. I suspected that the man was hurting the bear cub. Off I dashed toward the man, bearing my spear. The man saw me as ran to him and yelled. "It's Jarn! The fabled Jarn! He exists!" and then he ran off. I didn't bother to chase him, for the animal was unwounded. As I turned to leave, I saw a mass of fur lying on the ground. Approaching it, I saw it was a bear. Using my staff, I healed the bear from the deep injuries it was given. The cub safely returned to it's mother. Another job well done.

Getting back on track, I started running back on my usual path. A figure moved in front of me. I stopped just in time. Who is this strange person?

I dashed down the usual Main Road, when I came across a point where it split into two. One path lead into a dark field, and the other to a mysterious wood. I have heard stories of grand warriors who entered these woods, and came out without a body. I turned right, and entered the woods.

"There's... something near..." I thought. My sword vibrated with each step, skeletons and rusted weapons along the sides of the path. The deeper I went, the stranger the smell.
"Reiatsu... I can feel it... Pretty strong, too..." I muttered to myself.

Movement! Near the opening of the woods, I saw a shadow start walking. I readied myself, and pounced toward the figure. I landed before it, and said, "Halt. Who goes there and tresspasses into the woods of the fabled Jarn?" I ask.

Just moments later upon entering the woods, a silhouette jumped out infront of me, blocking the path.

"Halt. Who goes there, and trespasses into the woods of the Fabled Jarn?" it said.

"Fabled... Jarn?" I repeated, reaching for the sword I had on my back, ready to draw it whenever prompted.

"You have not heard the story?" I asked the figure.

"Story?" I repeated. I lowered my guard a bit, interested. From what it sounds like, whoever this was could possibly be an ally. But it was never confirmed, so I cannot be sure. Either way, I had my sword ready, just incase...

"I am Jarn. Years ago, I was born into this world. I was at first smart, and then I was involved with animals. They seemed.... hypnotized by me. They would do my bidding, so I gave them commands that made THEIR life better, not mine. Just seeing them live longer was enough hapiness.

"But then came one day. I was rumored to be a dark arts user, because I could control animals. I was tied to a stake, and jeered at by surrounding crowds. Anger rushed through me as they made me watch as they killed animals that were captured. It wasn't bearable.

"So one night, in my cell, I had a bear bend the bars in my cell. I escaped and set the Sheriff's house alight. It was a horrid thing to do, but I must have my revenge. The fire killed the man, but not his family. Whenever an animal is tortured, or a fire in burning in front of me, I often think of what I did to the man. I was fabled in towns to be a wizard who kills. My story was passed down throughout the ages... Strangely, after generations, I continue to live. I can still get hurt, but it seems that the rift of time doesn't affect me.

So now you know my story. Tell me, why are you here?"

"I am here to investigate these odd killings lately. Just recently, there was a girl by the name of Pandora that had witnessed the murderer deep within the woods, but has yet to return."

"It is not I who have killed and taken the people. I only scare them away. Perhaps the girl saw me at the scene, got scared, and ran away, but got lost. I'm sure the killings might've been someone else."

"I see.. Well, thanks, I'll be--"

"Kyaa!!" Just as I turned to leave, a scream pierced through the air. I could hear it coming from somewhere deep in the forest. I turned back around, and ran to trace the girl's voice...

I saw the figure run off to the noise. Hmm. The scream sounded awfully like the Screaming Scrambler that Dr. Robotnik created. Attracts helpful people and then hits them with a Scrambler beam, which will scramble their DNA codes and turn them into Screamers themselves.

Why not? I turned around and ran after him. "WAIT! STOP!" I yelled.

(OOC: Don't mind me, but won't it be easier to make an OOC for this? Otherwise, you may have people like me trying to find out about the RP, and its rules, while also accidently ruining the RP. Like right now.)
