From personal experience, Economics seems a relatively unknown subject to those who have not studied it, and can be even more bewildering to those who have!

The Smartalec Economic Discussion message board aims to cultivate a lively community of thinkers to discuss, debate and expand on economic issues. Smartalec specifically aims to attract members from all levels of study, providing a means for people to find the answers they need to any economic query, and discuss new ideas.

While Smartalec is admittedly in its infancy, everyone here in the admin team believe we can make the forum take off, with the help of some regular posters. We'd like you to get involved in The Big Debate, where we want your opinion on a topical issue, and in coming weeks the Smartalec investment portfolio where we'll track your chosen stock to see how we'd do in the stock market!
