Well, I wonder if this myth is indeed circulating amongst young Japanese children, or merely in the drama+manga....

Anyway, legend has it that jigoku shoujo (Girl of Hell) can help a person seek revenge. By accessing the website at a certain time, the webpage mysteriously appears, asking for the name of the person who they hate. And then they are given a straw doll with a tied red ribbon. Pulling out the red ribbon would grant the person the revenge.

If you're looking for something fantastic or something thrilling, this isn't it. But it was an enjoyable watch so I would like to recommend it!

I like more anime than drama ><, i think Enma Ai "real" was weird and i dont like the actress who performed to Enma Ai :(. And the plot is the same of anime XD.

Anyways XD, i only will watch the drama because Kazuki Katoh is there *_*.

I haven't watched it but the plot sounds like a horror movie 0__0

HAHA! I think Kato Kaidoh is HOOOOTTT too!!! I think its because of his first appearance, when he helped the girl to escape from the cheekopeh! (<---means cheeky old man literally). Its like, BIG CONTRAST! *looks at cheekopeh in disgust, then stares back dreamily at Kato* Moody, cool, tall, and such a gentlemen. (>w<)

I saw that many people who read the anime werent happy with Ai...But I'm ok since I don't read it. In fact I like her alot!

I watched the first episode of this drama since i started watching the anime and wanted to see the drama to see what it was like. Haha it was alright. xP. i prefer the drama but i do like the story. It's yet sort of creepy but really cool. ;] Hahah kato Kaidoh was hot. ^___^

I saw the anime and really liked the whole idea, plus I could just imagine myself doing something like that. But then I saw the live action and it wasn't all that great, the main actress just didn't seem to work but the guy was pretty cute.

I really liked the anime... it had a calming but creepy site to it...but i havent seen the live action yet,.. if its like the series or compleetly the same.. do you guys think its worth watching? :unsure:

I saw the LA first and i think its better than anime. But poor there are just 6 subbed eps T_T (yeah and this dont mean i dunt like anime version, i like it a lot, but LA was better... uhm maybe its somethin wrong wit me cuz i like more LA XD yaoi/shounen-ai is boring for me [sometimes] cause Coat West is better! hahahaha)

I'm currently watching the 3rd season of the Jigoku Shoujo anime and I have to say, it's getting REALLY weird. @__@ Like, I don't like weird Enma Ai. =/

I watched the Live Action and dropped it after the 2nd episode. I REALLY do NOT like the actress that played Enma Ai and she just ruined it for me. If they replace here and do another season, I'd watch it for kicks. I know, I'm mean. xD

Quite honestly, I thought that the anime was better than the Live, only because the Live didn't seem too... "live." I'm not too sure how to explain it, but in my opinion I say the anime was better.

but in the live, Ren was hot... haha
