» Tahir's Oasis
Named for its discoverer, his small oasis offers the only real reprieve from the boiling heats of the savannah. This picturesque tropical paradise provides a break from the heat as well as the most treasured resource in the pridelands – water. The pride often gathers here to drink their fill, every one of them grateful for the relief that the small haven provides them. Some, however, are less eager to share the water supply and shade, leaving the treasured little oasis a much coveted site.

» The Savannah
Desolate, sweltering, deadly – the savannah can be described no other way. Here there is little protection from the heat, the only shade being the occasional patch of Acacia trees that dot the landscape. Most strive to avoid this place when at all possible, as they have the common sense to know that the savannah holds many dangers for the unwary traveler. Still, these lands can’t always be avoided, so when traveling be watchful and know your limits.

» Redclay Canyon
Cut into the surface of the savannah is the aptly named Redclay Canyon. Named for the red-brown dirt it was carved from, Redclay seems somewhat misplaced in the levelness of the desert-like landscape. Here the earth makes a sudden drop, descending down for a good hundred feet or so; along the eastern wall is a steep incline, the treacherous entrance point for canyon visitors. Lying along the bottom of the gorge is a small stream, the driving force that brings most guests into the precarious pit.

» Javori Dunes
While the majority of the landscape is flat and desolate, these dunes tower above it all. With some reaching twenty or more feet in height, everything else is dwarfed in comparison to these monstrous mounds. As they are made of nothing more than loose sand and dirt, they aren’t particularly easy to climb, nor is it recommended to do so. Still, though, these hulking piles of almost divine proportions do have their benefits – shade. Take advantage of that fact.
