| Sakiri Lying along the northern rim of the island are the territories belonging to Sakiri. Here the winds rip at ones fur and chill one to their very bones; harsh conditions, but the well-adapted natives take it all in stride. These pridelands are primarily comprised of mountainous terrain, though there are spots in which the altitude dwindles. | Cheveyo Somewhat centralized on the island is Cheveyo country. These lands are by far the most diverse, the only to truly know all four seasons distinctly. Here trees rule the landscape, vegetation as far as the eye can see; in addition, its temperate climate and generally average precipitation levels leave this place somewhat dull and predictable, a fact that may appeal to some more so than others. | Ixtab The western fringes of the island hold the quaint territory of Ixtab. The lands here don’t suffer from cold, extreme heat or, most certainly, drought; rather, their curse is the sheer humidity. These jungles are blessed – or plagued – by incessant rainfall, leaving the earth in a somewhat perpetual state of mud, moisture clinging to every last molecule it can find. Though abundant in prey, there is a downside to this territory – the dense vegetation makes it all but impossible to navigate through. | Njeri Tucked away in the southern-most reaches are the lands of Njeri. Polar opposite to its northern cousin, this territory is nothing short of sweltering. Here heat rules and water is a rare commodity. Those who reside here must adapt fast to this unorthodox lifestyle, for the heat has no pity and knows no mercy. Though scorching, there are a few hidden respites from the heat if one knows where to look but more often than not these reprieves are crowded, leaving tension levels rather high.
