STORYLINE: This role-playing game takes place after Sonic Heroes. Thus meaning Elise and Silver the Hedgehog do not exist [thank God to Elise's nonexistence], Shadow's history hasn't blown up into a million pieces yet, and all of those other pointless things incorporated into the newer games are not regarded. When role-playing threads are completed, they will be summarized and placed in a new post below.

After defeating the Metal Overlord, the four teams had seemed to split their own ways. Sonic the Hedgehog, the fastest thing alive, has been roaming familiar locations in search of a new adventure. Tails remains in his workshop, creating new inventions, and living in peace. And after putting the Master Emerald back together, Knuckles lingers on Angel Island to protect it from any ‘harm’ that may endanger it.

As for Shadow, the ‘Ultimate Life Form,’ he has begun to attempt to explore his history, and look for answers… slowly and surely, everything is just starting to come back to him. His main goal is to track down Eggman in hopes of finding more answers. E-123 Omega is still on task, attempting to destroy and annihilate any creation of Dr. Eggman. And Rouge… who knows what this devious bat is up to? As a treasure hunter, she is hunting jewels and gems… and she’s starting to gain quite a lot of them. But is there something else she wants?

Team Chaotix, Vector, Espio, and Charmy have remained in their detective agency, putting in all their effort. Big has traveled back to his home in the jungle, where he can view serendipity once again… Cream resides in Station Square, living with her mother. Amy… well, she’s still aimlessly tracking down Sonic in hopes of a relationship.

While nothing seems to be out-of-place here, Dr. Eggman has other plans… that involve a somewhat of a ‘reunion’ between the lovely protagonists and antagonists. He’s about to reveal the larger scheme he has up his sleeve… soon enough.


CURRENT PLOT:

PLOT INFORMATION (ALL OF THIS IS YET TO BE ROLE-PLAYED): Dr. Robotnik makes his return to the Space Colony ARK… this time, with a prisoner: Amy Rose. He wants to know where Sonic the Hedgehog is and he has no patience for games. Amy refuses, and she is knocked unconscious and thrown into one of the ARK’s cells. This is where Shadow the Hedgehog appears, searching for “answers.” He wants to know what happened – he wants to know the truth.

Robotnik makes him a deal… in return for his precious answers Shadow must attach a mind-control device (a small sphere-like gizmo) to Sonic. Dr. Robotnik possesses three of these; they were left behind by his grandfather, and the codes and machinery are too complex for Robotnik to read or upgrade them. Therefore, all that the devices are applicable for is one person per device. He would like to see how well his grandfather’s invention works, and he’d like to try it on Sonic the Hedgehog; he chose the azure hero because of previous events, and due to the embarrassment Sonic caused him.

Shadow makes his venture to Earth where he manages to locate Sonic. During the battle, they board a plane at the airport on an island a bit off from Station Square, where it continues. While the plane is flying just over Angel Island, the two are knocked off of the plane, and they land just on top of the Master Emerald, smashing it into pieces (shards, as they will be called). Knuckles and Rouge happen to be on Angel Island at this time, battling for the Master Emerald Shards.

Shadow and Sonic, nearly unconscious, are now unable to move. They are unaware that the mind-control device is knocked off the cliff and onto a ship that is passing by the island. It just so happens that it is a GUN battleship.

THE ABOVE IS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING ROLE-PLAYED.

The GUN, now possessing the mind-control device, wants to know more about it, and after analyzing the codes, find it incredibly difficult. Deciding they must seek out Miles ‘Tails’ Prower, a mechanical genius, for help, they show up at his workshop. Fascinated by the concept, Tails helps them discover how to work it, and after rewarding Tails with a cash reward, the GUN takes the gizmo back to their headquarters. They amplify security and fortify their defenses, and lock up the device to an extremely protected status. Not even Robotnik would get to it.

GUN scientists discover the mind of the device and have the ability to amplify it to great power; great enough to control every mind in the world, if more of the devices are combined. Shadow, however, appears to have caught a glimpse of where Robotnik’s gizmo went, and using his intelligence and logic, later managed to locate the GUN base. He is only able to get close enough to witness through one of the windows (nearly indestructible, with a barrier around that prevents Chaos Control) the power of the device, and a set of blueprints on a nearby table. (He also learns that if all three devices are combined, the power is great enough to control the entire world’s populace.) That is, only before the window is replaced with a wall made of adamantium steel, layered with other forms of metal.

Shadow brings the news to Robotnik; that’s what he wants, now… he wants the device back, and the blueprints. It was his grandfather’s, now belonging to him. And with those blueprints he could combine all three to make one ultra version powerful enough to control the entire planet! First, he needs Sonic and Tails to join his army and aid him in the breaking in… luckily, he still has the two others.

Sonic – the main hero
Main objective: defeat Dr. Eggman and recover the three mind-control devices
Minor objective(s): prove he is better than Shadow, his nemesis

Tails – a side-hero
Main objective: help Sonic to defeat Dr. Eggman and recover the three mind-control devices
Minor objective(s): prove to Sonic that he is independent

Amy Rose – the hostage
Objective: escape from Dr. Eggman and help Sonic

Shadow the Hedgehog – the hand puppet
Main objective: find answers to the mystery of the ARK and his Maria

Rouge the Bat – the thief
Main objective: collect the Master Emerald Shards and any other gems possible

Knuckles the Echidna – the guardian
Main objective: collect and restore the Master Emerald Shards

Dr. “Ivo” Robotnik – the main villain
Main objective: control the entire planet and become the ‘ruler’
Minor objective(s): Use the two mind-control devices on Sonic and Tails to get them to join his army and recover the third device

The rp’ing threads will be organized as follows:
Part One: Rivalry Collisions
Characters involved: Knuckles, Rouge, Sonic, Shadow
Outline: Knuckles and Rouge are battling for the Master Emerald, when Sonic and Shadow, in their own battle, fall from an airplane and shatter the Emerald. The mind-control device, which Shadow was attempting to attach to Sonic, is lost to the GUN.

Part Two: Hunch for an ARK
Characters involved: Dr. Eggman, Shadow, Amy
Outline: Eggman attempts to get answers out of Amy before locking her in a jail cell. He then explains to Shadow of the three mind-control devices before sending him to test it on Sonic.

Part Three: The GUN and the Fox
Characters involved: Miles ‘Tails’ Prower
Outline: The GUN go to Tails to seek help in order to crack the code of the mind-control device.

NOTE: Only the first three threads have been planned. The other parts will be created by Administrators, with a VERY general outline. This is where everything will leave off, where members can join the threads and determine the outcome. This is where members get their freedom in the plot. Anything can happen after the first three parts!

Anyone that joins and is accepted into the role-playing game, and is not scheduled to be in any of the first three parts… you WILL be able to join the parts AFTER those. Like I said, after the first three, the following threads/parts will be created with a general objective, and we leave the members to do the rest.

Everything written at the very top (the “PLOT INFORMATION:” section) will be role-played out in parts I, II, and III.
