It may be a question of people to play it *and* space to play it in. Our last three Sunday pre-releases had 62, 58, and 78 people. I know this is a core set, so there is not quite as much buzz, but school is also out and plenty of folks have free time to do these sorts of things.
I plan to play in the Sunday pre-release, rather than Legacy.

Yeah, space is definitely at a premium this weekend. The safe bet is to call after any given pre-release has started; if there's room, awesome, but there might not be.

This set looks pretty weak. I'm thinking we can fire through it.

Not sure if that makes a huge difference or not. AVR's Sunday pre-release had a lot of young players for whom strength of set probably means less.

its possible that yes, we can fire legacy thru the prerelease. While the set looks weak to you as a competitive player Kyle, there are many Commander and Casual players to whom the set holds infinite appeal.
In the history of legacy, we've fired thru a prerelease 1 of like 10 times? I'll be there running the PreRelease, so I can fire you guys if there are 8 there, but I'll be unable to play as I'm mentoring a Judge.
Chances of fire look slim next week too, but you're welcome to bring Ryan out and run him thru more 2 headed Giant as well. You do get to tell him how to do everything :)

I missed out on the AVR 2HG, maybe I can make it to M13. Not going to make the prereleases this weekend which is disappointing.

I'm gonna be there today for the M13 pre-release, but if 7 or more other people show up wanting to play Legacy then I'll drop and join in that. :)
