The
Avacyn Restored FAQ Link is up. The judges will be reading this to understand the updated rules, but this is also very helpful for all magic players. This site lists every card in the upcoming set and provides excellent easy to read rule explanations for the specific card. For example, say you are really excited about the card Blessings of Nature. It has rules note for this card.
This document doesn't go over every case of card interactions though. Judges will always be able to help answer additional questions this document doesn't cover.
Thanks for posting this Jon.
I do encourage all players to read the FAQ. In particular, have a look at Miracles and notice the following:
You can cast a card for its miracle cost only as the miracle triggered ability resolves. If you don't want to cast it at that time (or you can't cast it, perhaps because there are no legal targets available), you won't be able to cast it later for the miracle cost.
and
You cast the card with miracle during the resolution of the triggered ability. Ignore any timing restrictions based on the card's type.
Or to put it another way, the "miracle" portion means you have to reveal it before you actually get it drawn to your hand, you must cast it right then if you want to cast for the miracle cost, and you can cast it immediately at that moment, even if it is a "sorcery."
Keep those things in mind, and miracles should not be a problem. (Note I said "should"...)
