Title: Yesterday's games
Description: What were the results?

Stuart and/or Collins,

I know you two said that you played two games yesterday. Were they both Ravens vs Bashers? I know Stuart won at least one of them, did he win both? Just trying to figure out where the standings are at for the top four teams.

If I've done my math right, my Saturday game against Stuart could put either of us pretty solidly in the top rank, and make it hard for anyone else to catch up.

Yes, yes, yes, no, yes, and no. :)

What? You want a longer answer? Sheesh. ;)

We did play two games yesterday and both were Ravens versus Bashers. The first was a tie, although I was 2-0 at half-time and Morg was worth his weight in gold. I lost Morg early on in the second half due to some bad luck and then numbers were against me so Collins managed to score twice and tie.

The second game I could only afford a Wizard, but he also helped. Again, I was 2-0 up at half-time. A riot in the second half wasted one turn, which didn't help Collins and although he scored I managed to hold him off to grab the win, 2-1.

That means, if my maths is correct (and I'll post the results when I can - real life is demanding right now unfortunately) Collins has dropped down to about 55%, I've jumped up to 67%, Joe has dropped down to 50%, and you're on 75%, Shane.

The game on Saturday is a biggie. I think, and I could be wrong, if you win you'll jump up to around exactly 80% and will be hard to stop. If I win, you drop down to 60% and be in a bit of trouble, while I'll jump up to 75%. Bear in mind though that no one's out of the running yet - with a win Chris, Geoff, Collins or Joe would be right back up at or near the top. And this is still only the start of Week Six. Two weeks plus a few days to go... :)

So, yes, a win to either of us puts us high up at the top, but it's not hard for anyone to catch up. If you win you're in a better spot than I would be if I win, though.

Forgot something - Collins wants to play you on Saturday too, after our game, Shane. That's a really vital game for you both too, even if you beat me in the first game.

Assuming you win against me, you're on 80%, while Collins will start on 57% I think. That means if you win against Collins, you'll be on 84/50% respectively and your Lizardmen will be near uncatchable in the standings (just as they are on the pitch! :D), but if you lose it opens things up a lot more, with you being on 67/63% respectively.

No pressure. ;)

Haha, cool... well, I'll just have to win both, then. :P

What time do you want to come in? I could probably start by around 11:15 or so.. 11:30 to be on the safe side.

11:30 works for me, Shane. See you then.

Cool. In that case, maybe I can start my game with Collins by.. 2:30ish? 3, maybe? So if you swing by sometime after 3, Collins, I can totally get a game in, as long as it isn't too late.

The SAT ends at 12:45, so I'll probably come over just to hang out with the Fantasy folk around 1:30. I'll bring my Blood Bowl stuff so that I can get a game in whenever works for you.

Okay, sweet. I'll see you then!
