I've mentioned in another thread that I am planning on hosting an all day game event at my house on either Monday, Dec 28 or Tuesday Dec 29.

So far the only people who can attend during the day are L5R players. Some gamers have said they can come play boardgames in the evening, though. So I thought I'd focus on us as to when and what to do.


The plan is to play from lunch until my wife threatens to divorce me if I don't kick you out. I will provide lunch, most likely from Q Shack. We'll order pizza for dinner and everybody will chip in for that.

I have a babysitter lined up to watch kids on the day we pick, but I think only Jeremy and I have children in this crowd.

So fill out the poll, letting me know which days/times you can play, and if you're cool playing boardgames at night. Post with any suggestions or details.

I could only do Monday, but things are actually looking like I might need to at least go into work for a bit if not all day. However, given a noon start time I can probably get there around 2ish and be there for a stretch.

I can do any of those days, and boardgames in the
evening is fine, great even. So long as I know the details
pretty soon, I'm flexible.

Right now it looks like Tuesday will actually work better.

Lee, Courtney, Jack and Meredith have said Tuesday works better for them. I've also gotten notes from other gamers that they'd prefer to play board games on Tuesday night over Monday, but they only get half a vote. :)

Is anybody available on Monday only? Right now it looks like Jeremy's the only person who can only play on Monday. If so, can you arrange things to work on Monday and knock out enough stuff to play on Tuesday?

I can only do Monday, I can't do Tuesday. I've got 4 weeks to get 6 weeks worth of stuff done for my boss. Monday I could do only because its the Monday after Christmas and its not a big deal to take that off.

Tuesday I could maybe swing by in the evening for board games, but not until probably 6:00pm at the earliest.

I can make it any time.

It's officially at my house on Tuesday the 29th at noon. I'll have lunch from Q Shack. I will provide some beer, but request that you bring anything else you'd like to drink or snack on.

Looks like I'll be able to take a half day and make it there around 1'ish. Not being an L5R player however, I'm ultimately more interested in playing board games but could be convinced to reharness my samarai skills, though I'd rather not.

I'll plan to bring various filler or 2p games that can be played if there's down time for players between matches and/or other non-players.

We'd be glad to have you, but we may only have one other non-L5R guest at that time. Why don't you give me a call and see where things lie when you're ready to hang out.
