Just to let you guys know, I'm now working at a place where I can play L5R online. I'm using the Egg of P'an Ku program downloadable at www.kamisasori.net.

Oh also if you need any help getting the program up and running, let me know. It's kind of a pain sometimes.
They just loaded the PotD cards and pictures, so it's fully updated. Even if you don't play online I recommend the program for the deck building features.

So Jack and I are both having trouble connecting with EoP. Has anyone else tried it or know of what might be wrong. We typically get timed out without connecting.

I'd need to know more about the exact issue, but 9 times out of 10 when people are having trouble connecting, the hoster is behind a router and hasn't configured it properly to accept incoming connections (if someone is trying to connect to a 192.68.xxx.xxx ip address, this is probably the case)
Edit: Oh, and Jack, I work about the same hours and can sometimes play. You got any IM clients? I'm on AIM and MSN (through Trillian) pretty much any working hours.

Yeah mine is a 192.168.X.X address, so maybe that's the problem. I'll have to take a look at my router settings.

Trying to get gchat set up through pidgin, but so far, no luck - have the account set up (supposedly) but has an error every time I try to add anyone.
But, I do have a username: smokingmute (<at>gmail.com if that part's needed). Maybe if others add me, it'll work.

I was going to use MojoPac to install Hamachi to my USB, but I can't do it at work because of admin right. Meredith tried it on her computer, but she's using Vista and MojoPac says her OS isn't supported.
So somehow I need access to an un-admin-protected XP computer to install MojoPac to install Hamachi to play with Egg.
We'll see.
