Here are two poems that I wrote with Jesus and His bride in mind.

Enchanted Night

The song of the cricket in my ear,
golden sun and silver moon,
a dream in my heart I hold very dear.
A crystal dew drop on a firey bloom.
The beat of my heart is a simple tune.
What is different about this night?
The dreams of my heart are wild and ablaze.
Something is different about my sight.
Could it be the enchanted moon light or purple haze?
What has been different about this day?
I can almost here the angels sing.
Today has been fulfilling in every way.
All glory and honor to the Almighty King.
Lord, I feel as if you are smiling on me.
As I sing to you I am being kissed by the breeze.
I weep for joy by the willow tree.
"Just hold me in Your arms", I beg of you please.
'Cause in your arms is where I want to be.
Me with You, You with me,
staring at the clear blue sea,
standing near the willow tree.




The Return

Look at her just standing there by the silver moon,
song on her lips dawn coming soon.
Look at her just standing there by the crystal lake,
melody in her heart dawn coming soon.
Look at her just standing there by the crying willow tree,
white roses in her hair dawn coming soon.
Look at her just satnding there by the enchanted white horse,
prayer in her heart dawn coming soon.
She is waiting for her Prince,
waiting for His smile,
waiting for His kiss.
She has a promise,
as the sun rises he will be at her side.
She is staring at the sky waiting for the moment he is at her side.
Look at her just standing there by her handsome Prince,
His arm around her waist dawn in full bloom.
