Rules Concerning This Site and its Content:

• I will work hard to make this RPG run smoothly and provide a fun haven for all wish to participate, but I do not "owe" you anything. I'm doing this out of my own time. All suggestions will be taken into consideration and implemented if deemed necessary, but any unreasonable demands will be ignored.
• The administrator has the final say on all decisions concerning the RPG. Members will be allowed to give their input and they will taken into consideration.
• Members are prohibited from posting links to sites containing inappropriate content such as porn, cracks or other illegal content. Spamming is also not allowed (irrelevant or redundant posting) as well as inappropriate advertising. Links will be removed upon discovery and members will be issued a warning. Repeated offense will warrant a permanent ban.
• You are responsible for anything that you place on this site (Images, graphics etc). Pornography and other inappropriate pictures and graphics are not allowed!
• Sexual activity IS allowed. However we will be very strict on those who do not post a separate closed thread for this activity and place the proper [RATED: MA] in the title. Again, it must be shown in the Title.


Concerning Members
• What you choose to reveal on this site is your own responsibility. It is in your best interest to refrain from divulging personal details and information. Please do not give anyone your password as this gives the person to edit or delete any of your posts.
• You are responsible for what you post in this RPG. If your work is stolen and used on another site, we will assist you, but we are not responsible for the damages incurred and won't be held accountable.
• Most importantly, members are required to show each other respect. You may not harass or threaten other members. Disrespectful behavior, such as derogatory comments containing racism, homophobia, or foul language will not allowed. Please be respectful to all members, regardless of age or experience.

Duties of an Administrator and Moderators
• Just as there as responsibilities for the members to uphold, there are for the administrator and moderating team.
• Enforcing the rules.
• Maintaining the board and site.
• Editing or deleting posts when necessary: situations include when a member has requested me to, or when I see a violation of the rules. Any edits will be marked.
• Keeping the board running smoothly, although I am not responsible for the RPG's downtime. If I know when the site will be down, I will try to let you know. This site is hosted on an external server which is subject to infrequent downtimes.

Registration
• You must read the rules and all information pages on Echoes of the Force prior to filling an Character Bio Form.
• This RPG is designed for mature audiences. Please do not join if you are offended by violence, sex, strong language, or mature subjects. There is no technical age limit -- if you think you can handle it, by all means. But I won't be held accountable for you if you find out you don't like the subject matter.

Gameplay
• Posting should be daily. If you are to go on vacation or a leave of absences, please let the people you RP with know.
• You may only control your own characters.
• Please speak in the 3rd person only (when posting in stories that is).
• No godmodding. Godmodding is when you make your character practically invincible and all-powerful, which is unfair for other players, and is, well, boring.
• Characters die, like all things. Your character is no different, upon agreeing to enter into combat with another user you risk having your character killed. If agreed upon, fight it out. But once you agree to a fight you are at the mercy of the other player and your own Roleplaying ability should you loose.
• Cursing is allowed.
• As we cannot hear your voice, make your intentions clear.
• Your profile must be accepted before you start roleplaying. Any requests made by an admin to your bio should be followed, if not then your bio will not be accepted. It really is that simple.
• Story’s can be solo or joined by other members. Please indicate accordingly in the first post.
• You are allowed to join in more than one story thread, as long as the do not conflict or alter anything in any other story threads you are apart of.
• If you have no desire to complete a solo thread or no one has joined your thread for over a month, let a moderator know so they can delete it. Any thread without promising replies will ultimately be deleted after 6 weeks.
• Label all out of character comments in story threads will "OOC."
• ALL CAPS IS SHOUTING. Don't shout. I have sensitive hearing, haha.
• If you are responding in a long thread, specify to whom you are speaking when necessary.
• As they reflect upon you, please be mindful of your spelling, punctuation and grammar before posting.
• Do not spam the board. Please make your posts at least a few sentences long and delete repeated posts.

Character Creation
• You are allowed to have more than one character, as long as you have a different account for each of them.
• You are not allowed to use pre-made characters from external sources, i.e characters from books, video or games without permission form the Administrator.
• You must post a fresh Bio form for each new character you make after joining.
• Each character must have their own profile, and account.
• As far as NPC's are concerned, yes, you're allowed to make them, but they can't overpower the group of people you're with or be used to attack another character without their permission. Don't use an NPC someone else created without their permission first.
• If you character is force sensitive, then he or she are only able to use the basic force power listed under Here. If you wish to have your character able to use a different force ability or force power from the sith book of spells Then you must request it from an admin.

Other
• When creating a thread in the current time are you need to make a location, like Cantina, Local Streets, Judo’s Speeder Track, ect. If it is a story in Expanded Roleplaying Section, then you can make it a differant time, place or whatever, and title it what you wanna title it as your story.

• Administrators/Mods are not above the standard rules. If an administrator/mod is found breaking the rules they will be subject to a temporary revoking of their position. If the rule infraction is serious enough in nature the rest of the staff will discuss a fitting punishment anywhere from permanent suspension of position to banishment from the board.

• Administrators/Mods are not to reveal the inner workings of the team. If an administrator/mod is found leaking information to the rest of the members they are subject to a temporary or permanent revoking of their position. (This one based off what happened with me personally, though it wasn't a rule at the time)

• Administrators/Mods who post a permanent leave of absence (LoA) will have their position revoked. Should that person return to the boards, the current staff will discuss on whether or not to reinstate said persons position as it makes a bad impression on the other members.

• No one Administrator/Mod outranks the other. The staff is to work as a democracy or more simply a council. All decisions will be passed by a majority vote. Any administrator/mod found going against the approved decision will immediately and permanently have their position revoked.

• If you wish to join as a force sensitive character, know that your profile will be thoroughly scrutinized as the force sensitive characters are much harder to come by; with the story and time period, force sensitives are a rarity and as such, when creating a profile they will be a tad harder to gain, though not impossible. If creating a force sensitive and you wish to create another character, try to create a non-force sensitive as they now have a much larger role than the force sensitives.

Other

• When creating a thread in the current time are, you will need to indicate the location such as administrative building, Cantina, Local Streets, Judo’s Speeder Track, ect. If it is a story in the journal entries, preferably in a different time period, place or whatever, then you can title it what you want as it is your character’s story.

{These rules are simply a revision of the old rules. All items in red are especially stressed upon to ensure a friendly enviroment yet these are not the final rules. This is simply something to go on as you the members will surely have suggestions.}
