1. Rule numero uno is to have fun! The purpose of an rpg is to entertain those who play in it. If you’re not having fun, then you will be killed. >:]
2. No spamming, flaming, or infighting among players. Play nice! This goes with rule #1. If you ruin the fun for someone else, then you will be dealt with.
3. No godmodding. Just don’t do it. I shouldn’t have to say this, but I know it will happen. Some people are new to rping and do it by mistake. Some people just want to have control over everything. No godmodding means no moving other peoples’ characters for them without express permission from them that we know you have. It means no being invincible. You’re going to get hurt sometimes, live with it. No one can dodge every bullet. This also means no scene stealing/hogging. If there is more then one character in the scene, please try to interact with them all, not just focus on one in particular. Don’t steal the attention of others either.
4. Please be creative in your madeups ~ We don't want, nor need, 50 badass girl hunters who all chase Dean. Also, there are to be no Mary-Sues with invincible superpowers. Everyone has some weakness, even if they aren’t known. No one is all pretty and perfect. It just doesn’t happen. You don’t know everything. You can’t do everything. Your character shouldn’t be able to either. It gets really boring to play with.
5. We aim to be an active group, so please try to post a minimum of 3-4 times a week. We know everyone can get busy, and may be unable to post every day, but if you have not posted for your character/s in a month, you will get a warning via PM. If you fail to post within another couple of days, you will be deleted.
***In the case of a canon character, you have one week of unannounced off time before you are warned. If you do not post withing the next couple of days, the character will be put back up for grabs.
***This is not to penalize anybody who may have a legitimate reason for not being able to post, (i.e. illness, swamped with work/school, internet problems, etc. ) just contact a staff member and let us know that you're still with us and interested in playing, or even a post, or a short message in the ShoutBox.
***Any removed members are more then welcome to return at any time, so long as they remain an active part of the group. Fair warning though, if you were removed and rp'ed a canon, that canon may not be available once you return.
6. Within a week of joining this board as a member, you will be required to submit a character bio, or character request. This request, for originals, must be approved by at least two members of staff before you may post as that character. For canon characters, you need only to request them. If you have any trouble creating a bio, ask a staff member. We will be more than happy to help, just contact us. Also, if you are able to come up with any other canon character that is not currently taken or listed and wish to play them, drop us a line. We’re not perfect :]
7. The last rule for now involves mature content of a sexual nature. I do not mind if you decide to rp the entire night that your characters spend together in detail. I myself have done it before. It can show some interesting twists on relationships and be plenty of fun. However, not everyone enjoys stumbling on such writing. If you are going to do it, then please label your post with NC17. That way the younger ones and those who have no interest in reading such things may skip over your thread.
