evil is everywhere you turn. it steals your breath in darkness, and whispers in your ear in times of crisis. evil is not a figure of speech, or an overreaction. it is not religion. it is truth. it is evil that flickers the lights and rattles the chains. kills without mercy. flashes of demons and ghouls are always there, if you know where to look. you're not crazy, if you see things that shouldn't be. if you feel cold on a sunny day. there is evil out there, lurking in the darkness. shaping up your future with every step you take.

hunters are around to make sure you stay safe. keep the lurkers at bay, blasting ammunition at any ghoulish creature that stays still long enough. revenants, spirits. shapeshifters, demons. they'll try to exterminate them all. all for your wellbeing, even if you happen to believe them insane. they're martyrs, some of them. others driven purely by revenge. vengeance for love lost, for hearts broken. for pain so terrible it bears no name.

there are few things a hunter like sam winchester can't do. the kid's skilled in marksmanship, close combat, and he's got a brain like an encyclopaedia. but he just can't get over losing his brother. dean's barely buried, and things aren't looking good for his little brother. will he be driven by vengeance, or will it all be too hard?

pain redefined is set between seasons three and four. dean is in hell, burning, screaming. sam has been left behind. lucifer is on the rise already, and he's a sick sonofabitch at that. lilith isn't working at breaking seals, for what seals are there to break? we do not have angels. we work without religion, back to the way seasons one, two and three were. all bad, no good. so will you be driven to fight in the coming war, or are you too weak? it will be a hard choice. welcome to pain redefined.
