ok so here's the deal, i bought resident evil 5 like 1 week ago i finished the game and i got mercenaries but yesterday 23/02/2012 when i tried to play on campaign i itried to play ANY CHAPTER whit BOTH chris and sheva and in the loading screen the game crashed and this crappy message appears:

"c:\program files(x86)\capcom\resident evil 5\nativepc\pawn\wp\wp10\model\wp1000 mod" 3 (yhea the 3 is after the " in the message)

And i didnt installed any mods or anything and i did bought the game via games for windows live and i unistalled the game and then i installed the game again TWICE and the same message appears! D: if some one knows what the problem is please help me i can only play mercenaries but i want to play campaign as well! please i really need help!

It looks like one of your archives is corrupt. It is there because Resident Evil 5 would error message with a "2" which means file not found "3" it can't read the .arc properly so it is forcing to find the files outside of the arc as it's there as a second option..

Download this and put in RE5 dir.

Does this only happen when your trying to join on online game where the player is using a model swap trainer or does this happen in single player too?

thanks for rp, i downloaded it and i put the nativePC where the resident evil 5 folder is (i replaced the folders) and now this message appeared:

''c:\program files(x86)\capcom\resident evil 5\nativePC\sound\se\wp\se_wpwp10.srq" 3

but then i saw that there was no any pawn folder in the NativePC before you gave me the link and there is a sound folder but inside there is only a bgm, not a "se", and i also find out that my brother installed a model swap trainer so you can play with some other characters and he told me he downloaded some patches with the name nativepc and he replaced alot of files (not only the folders but the files inside!!!) and that was before i unistall it for the first time

this happends in singleplayer and when i try to play online the same thing happends but my damn brother just told me he downloaded a trainer that needed some patches that replaces alot of nativepc files (before unistalled the game for the first time) is the model swap related to this problem? thanks for rp

Install Wilsonso's patch FULLY it should fix your problem.
