over the last 9 months :

the topic views of the entirety of the classic RE section amounts to less than 1.5% of total views.

combined, that's little more than the introductions sections.

just the introductions section.

it should be obvious, but that is pitiful.

which is why we'll no longer be seeing it -{ wasting space }- on the main page.

please refer here for -{ i told you so's }- :>

Re5 deserves more attention. (I know you can't do model editing and shit like that, but still, it has some potential)

As for the rules, I actually save a copy of all the rules from all the forums i am a part of. You just reminded me, i never did that for here. thanks.

I have a question. Why does it say re4 mod release archives, but no re5 mod release archives? or am i blind?

(before you say I'm stupid....I am the only person in my school (that i used to go to) that could throw anything in the world and ALWAYS hit myself in the eye. no matter the direction. Seriously i was in my art class and i threw a paper ball into the trash and it hit the rim and bounced back hit me in the eye. Is hitting my self in the eye related to stupidity? i have no fucking clue,BUT I am no baboon.)

sorry i felt like rambling on about pointless shit.

(Yes i did read the rules back when i joined. (twice))

there's no re5 archives - just re4.

the archive section was implemented before the 'no-bumping' rule was removed, due largely in part to topic-moderation constraints.

In all honesty Zaia the rules are more common sense than anything, I only recently checked your update to humor myself.

So basically I don't care to read the rules because I feel they are obvious enough that I should be able to follow...but apparently some people can't

Looks like both games are performing pretty well. It's really a no-brainer as to why Re4 is still in the lead.
It's seen as the best RE game in the series by many, it's got low end specs so pretty much any computer made within the last 2 or so years can play it, including the cheap-o walmart ones, and it's got a huge library of mods for it along with more modding tools then Re5.

Re5 is more complex to mod, it's also got much higher specs, with less modding tools. So with those things said I think Re5 is performing pretty damn well.

I still can't get over the fact that Re5 PC has been out for over 2 years already.. that's just crazy...feels like it was just a few months ago I was at Gamespot picking it up on day of release  Man how time flys >_>

I could have told you that even without your fancy graph. :>

Considering how many people just stroll in here and break the rules that much was pretty obvious.

Their mindset is basically like....

That is until they get a healthy dose of teh banhammer!

But in all seriousness, I really thought the classic section had some potential. I loved how Resident Evil Remake was being modded since that was actually one of my most favorite RE games.

Its just that the sheer lack of modders killed the classic section.

And I have always said that the day a tool is released to import models into RE5 is the day the RE5 section will start kicking ass! Just to bad it has not happen yet. I remember one guy was actually working on getting custom models in RE5 but nothing has come of it so far.

I'm pretty sure he said it was coming Christmas of this year. Unless that was too long ago for me to remember.

I remember some people saying model importing wasn't that important :tehe:

Umm...Thats still being over-looked...though i highly doubt its impossible to port models into RE5 :|

Sorry for the late reply but 2 year old computers is a huge understatement...

Before my video card upgrade everything in this computer was from 2006, so thats 5 years old and it ate RE4 up and spat it out...minus your(Excuse me well I forget the name, Rise of Darkness maybe?) dark environment mod, which apparently dropped my framerate from 30 fps to about 18fps haha.

I also have gotten max framerate on an even older computer(Though a slightly better video card could be to blame for that). But I'm sure you said 2 years as a safe way of looking at it.
