Journey to the Mansion, Open to all

[Chris Redfield]

Chris Redfield had just entered the mansion again, looking for some clues to why Umbrella created the T Virus. He cursed under his breath as he pulled out his S&W Model 500 Revolver. He swung it around a bit, then faced the dining room door. He pushed on through, and looked into the empty room. Nothing unusual had come yet, or atleast, that he hadn't known of. He looked on, looking for any switches or buttons. Then he reached the door, and pulled it......

After the outbreak on the city happened, many of the surviving locals decided to flee from town. Scarlet was one of them. This mansion was the closest building from her car accident.
All was silent for hours as she waited in the dimly lit hallway, until she heard the doors from the dining room open, and the sound of footsteps edged closer to the hallway doors. Backing away from the door she aimed her gun towards the opening door. Her hands shook from the fear of having to fire her gun again.

Chris opened the door, but was confronted by a girl, who was pointing a gun at him. He pointed his gun back at her, incase she planned on firing it.

'Put the gun down' he said slowly.

[Scarlet Moore]

Her eyes met with the mans, as her grip seemed to fade.
"So...your not one of them..." she said with a bit a relief. She lowered her gun.
"I was with two other people before I got here, but im the only one left now.."her voice tremble as the screams of her former neighbors rang through her head.

"Well, I'm getting no where sulking here. The names Scarlet"she wondered if he would mind the company.

Chris lowered his gun as well. He looked at the woman. His green vest looked dark in the doorway to the next room.

'My name's Chris Redfield, I work for the S.T.A.R.S, I've come here to find out why exactly Umbrella made the T Virus' he said.

A shadow appeared behind Scarlet. A zombie soon came out.

'Get down!' he shouted as he took the revolver and aimed it at the zombie.

[Scarlet Moore]

He knew alot about this epidemic...I wonder if he could be my way out of here and maybe I can uncover the truth behind this mess also. I sure lucked out meeting him

His shouting startled Scarlet. Which reminded her of the firing of a gun. She quickly ducked, so that Chris could take down the sneaking thing.

The zombie got even closer, and before it had a chance to grab Scarlet, Chris shot it in the head with his revolver. Then as it got back up, he kicked it into a wall.

'Alright, it's done....for the moment' he said as he smiled.

[Scarlet Moore]

"What is happening to people? Are they losing their minds?" she said catching her breathe as she stood up.
"Thank you...lets keep from staying here any longer."
While she followed behind Chris she continued to grow curious of his situation. "Whats this Umbrella have to do with this mansion"she whispered making sure not to make too much noise.

'Umbrella Corp. was behind the operation that made the T Virus' Chris said as he walked down the long hall,

'These people aren't people anymore, they're zombies' he added as he opened another door, which lead to the outside of the mansion.

He closed the door and looked around before continuing.

[Scarlet Moore]

Scarlet started to line to pieces up. So Umbrella is behind this...The reason why people have become 'monsters'...The reason why im in this nightmare..Why i was forced to kill my son."Umbrella will pay for this..."she muttered.

As the both of them walked through the next door, she realized they had returned outside. "Mr. Redfield, I must say, I was chased by something out here." Thats when it was three of us
Scarlet didnt want to be chased again. Even though she had recovered from before, she still was fatigue. Fatigue fueled by her fear.
Following behind him, she made sure to keep looking over her shoulder ever so often, since Chris was leading. Her palms grew moist, while she gripped her gun in reassurance.

It was quiet.
Too quiet....

'Damn Zombie dogs, they are outside. You can tell by the weird smell, that "dead" smell' Chris said as he locked the door.

He had to look around the hallway a little bit. Something got his eye though, a shadow, coming down a foot of stairs. He looked at Scarlet. Grabbing her hand, he took her at the far end of the hall and hid behind a wall. By the sound of the zombie, it was a runner.

'As soon as it comes across the hallway, im going to kick it, then, if you have a gun, shoot as many shots as possible at it, okay?' he asked.

[Scarlet Moore]

"Alright"she declared.
She braced herself and held her gun firmly. Its moans were eerie and filled with a intent to kill.
'I can do this'she repeated to herself.

[Chris Redfield]

As the zombie ran by, Chris foot came out of the hallway, sending the zombie back a few feet. Then he pinned it to the floor. It tried to bite him several time, but failed.

'Hurry up! Shoot it!' he shouted.

[Scarlet Moore]

Once Chris had the zombie pinned down, she stepped on its left arm and opened fire at the vicious creature three times. "Is it dead?" she asked. For a moment Scarlet, didn't realise she had fired her gun again. It was that moment, she started to understand, her situation isnt going to change, and if she was going to make it out of this nightmare...she would have to get over her sons death and survive for him.

Chris stepped off the zombie and kicked it in the side to confirm its death. He looked at Scarlet.

'It's dead' he said as he looked at a mirror.

Blood splattered all over him. Not very cool looking, but it would work. He wiped off the blood from his face and smirked. He then looked at Scarlet again.

'I think we should continue looking for clues' he said.
