do you guys broke the key to your lugs often? i seem to hear of people doing it alot around me. and recently my brother went to throw rims on my sol and he got 2 on the passenger side, then boom broke key. he ordered a new one but its been like 2 weeks and still nothing has come in so i havent been able to drive my car
any ideas of some thing else to use for a key? |

hm...i never used luglocks before....but i have an idea...im sure theres only 1 lock per wheel so i would say just use 3 regular lugs and ride like that for now....scary but it'll be temporary..i've actually drove my car with 3 lugs before on each wheel and no wheels went loose or anything... or if you have 8 lugs, just use those and swap in the lock when you get your new key..other than that, i wouldnt have any other advice....

well these are this type of lug, not exact internal shape, but general idea.
![]() with a key similar to this, but again differant pattern inside. ![]() the key like the pic above snapped at the end lol. i look for a picture of exact design im working with. or just take a pic of them. see if anyone can look at it and think of something that may work. |
