It's kinda early to speculate too much about the upcoming Presidential election but I'm going to pin this topic as a general area for everybody to post their opinions on the ensuing train wreck as it unfolds in real time before our eyes. Once the Candidate A and Candidate B have been selected by their respective parties, I'll even post a poll.

Once again, I really do not see any prospective candidate that I would feel right about throwing my support behind. I haven't paid very much attention to the Republican side so far ... which it's not as if they have even been given all that much coverage. I don't want to sound like some kind of Rush Limbaugh fucktard but the 'mainstream media' (y'know anything not owned by Richard Murdoch) can't seem to even pretend to hide their glee over the prospect of a Democratic President being elected in '08. I can't even watch the news on TV anymore ... I pretty much refuse to after every major network milked the death of Anna Nicole Smith in a display of exploitation that made me want to unplug my TV and throw in the trash can.

I might like Guliani to be the next president ... he probably will be. He was a hero after 9/11 and a lot of my friends down in NYC say they would vote for him. Its going to be Guliani against Obama. No one i know wants Hillary Clinton in the White House.
