Corvette-117 - May 28, 2012 03:35 PM (GMT)
In the realm of hyperspace, a sleek black Eta-2 Actis-class light interceptor flew through space. Inside, a man trained in the arts of an assassin, delved into the path of the Dark Side from infancy, and now strayed from his purpose. Betrayed and quietly distressed hid underneath state of the art armor and battle torn clothing. Silence flew his vessel, thinking he would arrive in a random place to relocate his place in a universe as everything he thought he fought for turned against him. What he did not realize was that not only would he find himself, he will change not only his fate but the fate of an entire galaxy...
*Silence has arrived on Aevon*

Opposite to a dark man who will find the light, a unknowingly lost soul also traveled through hyperspace in a much newer X-83 TwinTail starfighter. Rika looked like someone who would fight for justice and she felt she was, but she lost. Misguided as the crushing defeat of the New Jedi Order made her leave and begin her walk down the dark path, seeming to forever dominate her destiny. She thought it was for the best, but that's how it begins with many individuals that have before her like Darth Vader and Darth Krayt.

The cold of space. It seemed to be pulling the life out of Alder's body as he moved ever closer to the nexus. The last member of his crew, the only one to make it out alive. He had lost more than just brothers and sisters during the war, but he had finally found his shot at redemption. A chance to start again, to make things right. He would not fail this time.

((I'll be adding other intros as time goes on. Mostly gotta add Teeliss, and figure out what to do with Bixx ^_^))

A distinctive shuttlecraft headed out into the Unknown Regions, hurtling through hyperspace as its pilot lay in a dormant hibernation trance, blissfully unaware of the fate that awaited her. Blissfully, that is, until she began to be assaulted by visions, faint at first, then stronger, of the events to come.
*Fey-Li has arrived on Aevon*

"This had better be worth the fuss," Arom muttered, sending the bucket he'd been assigned towards the target zone. It was a Shooting Star courier, and he wasn't the best pilot ever; passable, at best. He was a groundpounder. Pure and simple. He knew enough to run a speeder bike and not crash this thing. And that was about it.

Thank whatever gods were out there for autopilot.
*Arom has arrived on Aevon*

A sleek, triangular Delta-7B Aethersprite fighter attached to its hyperspace docking ring shot through hyperspace, carrying its Jedi pilot. He was gruff, and a bit uncompromising, but loyal, and true, and an honorable warrior. These traits were to serve him well in the trials ahead.

<<I feel it now...stronger....getting close..>> The ship's alarm system began to go off, alerting it's passenger that they were nearing the event horizon. <<I can feel it drawing me.....I hear it calling my name...yes.....I will answer the call....>>

<<Brothers......sisters........>>, Halek opened his deep set reptilian eyes, his pupils forming slits sharp as any vibro-sword, <<Sith.......>>

In the darkness of space, two starfighters arrived out of hyperspace. Inside the lead one, Daka sighed as she looked back into the star field behind her. She and her loyal friend Nia had made a bold move, one that if they were found out could have untold punishment if they were caught. Daka sighed, she didn't want Nia to come, but the Felacatian could be quite stubborn when she wanted to be and threatened to do a great many things if Daka refused to let her come.

"Careful, Daka. There's something up ahead!" Nia Shouted in the comm. Daka looked forward and saw the approaching anomaly, her eyes widen with shock and gasped. Calming herself, she took a deep breath and pushed the throttle forward. Sending her fighter in first with Nia close behind...

*Daka and Nia have arrived at Aevon*

----

Reaper watched the approaching anomaly carefully. His Platoon had been requested to act as a vanguard for the investigation of this mysterious message of power. The 77th Platoon was strapped in and ready for anything. Reaper stood in the cockpit with the pilots of the troop carrier.

"Approaching anomaly Captain. It's starting to get choppy, don't think we'll be able to return if we go any further." The pilot said.

Reaper nodded. "Take us in, Pilot."

"Yes sir, might want to hold onto something." As the pilot finished, the ship rumbled as it moved toward their target. No one knowing what to expect.

*Reaper and the 77th Platoon have arrived at Aevon*

Xen Gallorn sat silently in his quarters, his eyes shut as he meditated. He felt the force around him, feeding his emotions as he felt the universe around him. A universe that would rightfully be taken by the darkside. The intercom announced that they were approaching their target. Xen opened his eyes and smiled, the time had come. He could feel the presence of the darkside growing stronger as they approached.

BX-X, alternately known as Bixx, stood in the cockpit of the ship next to his master- or "boss", as Bixx referred to him. His fingers clenched on his rifle; naturally he was here as a bodyguard, as always.

"You don't think I'm going to end up being blown up again, do you, boss?" he asked nervously. "I really hate that."

"I don't keep you around for color commentary, droid," the crime lord snorted, just as alarms filled the cockpit- the ship had gone dead, and was engulfed in a swirling multicolored vortex....

Just another routine mission.

Captain Bryan Zanon of the Republic Special Forces despised those words. It was a bloody lie when one was at war with the Sith Empire. Sith existing was not routine, so neither was anything related to them. And yet, when Jace Malcom dispatched his unit to investigate a strange anomaly in space, the man had used those 4 words. Malcom was an incredible soldier, one of Zanon's heroes, but sometimes, Zanon felt that his optimism was just taunting fate.

And when fate was taunted, fate delivered.

As soon as the Hammerhead, Zanon's personal BT-7 Thunderclap transport, had gotten anywhere near the anomaly, it had been blindsided by a Harrower class Sith dreadnought and a swarm of ISF interceptors. The enemy fighters had knocked out the hyperdrive with their opening salvo, forcing Zanon to grab the helm and do some serious fancy flying just to stay alive. He was no fighter ace, and even if he were, he would make a mistake sooner or later.

Zanon had 3 crew members with him, all part of his favourite fireteam, Hammer 2-1. Lieutenant Sophia Swan, his right-hand woman, was in the back of the ship, firing away with the dorsal turret, while Sergeant Bartus Kane operated the vessel's forward weapons. Specialist Syrus Lucia sat calmly at Zanon's right, fingers flying over the console as he tried to balance the BT-7's power grid.

"Our shields have been depleted to forty percent," intoned the cyborg calmly. "I recommend immediate disengagement."
Tell me something I don't know, Zanon thought, but he didn't voice those words. Syrus was autistic, and was generally given slack by all who knew him. Unfortunately, the Sith did not grant mercy, not even to the mentally handicapped.
"Bartus, what about Satele Shan's task force? Didn't she say they were coming?" the captain demanded.
Bartus shook his head. "Master Satele reported engine trouble with her ship. She's still a few minutes out."
Zanon cursed. Just their luck to be killed by someone else's shoddy maintenance.

"Thirty seconds until anomaly dispersion," Syrus announced, referring to the multicoloured vortex of energy that the squad had been sent to investigate. Looking at it, Zanon had an idea. If they could make it into that thing, only to have it close on the Sith, they could escape. Of course, there was no telling what was at the other end, but there was no other choice.
"Syrus, give me full power to engines and rear shields! We're going into the vortex!"

They made it in with seconds to spare.

*Bryan Zanon, Sophia Swan, Bartus Kane and Syrus Lucia have arrived at Aevon*

From the hellish vacuum of deep space came a flotilla of trandoshan vessels. They had been sent by the trandoshan clans, for the religious monks on dosha had all been hearing the same message. This hastily made flotilla had been sent out for two reasons and two reasons only!
Unmask the message and find the power the monks spoke of in their mutterings. Anything useful to the clans was to be brought back after exploration was complete...weapons, powers and even slaves.

As the ships slowly drifted out of hyperspace the commander sat in his command seat one of the salvage ships, now a converted science vessel. He sat there half asleep pondering over the orders he had been given. One of the soldiers on board came to his side and presented him with a drink to "raise the senses". After a very quick swig of the tonic, leader Korbac came to his senses.

"Much appreciated corporal, are the others up and out yet?" Korbac asked.

"Well sir, almost all the crew are up right now, except..." he said pausing.

"Except?" asked Korbac scratching one of his eyes, removing dust.

"That one they asked us to baby sit sir...the diplomat" replied the soldier.

"Doesn't surprise me one bit..." joked Korbac handing the empty glass back to the soldier.

"...well I suppose you should wake him up then" said Korbac pretending he was having another drink, making the hand motion.

"Of course sir" said the soldier who marched out of the command room.

As the soldier left, Korbac sat in his chair pondering what he could see. This area of space seemed strange somehow, as if a great energy circulated throughout the various clumps of rock. Whatever's out there better watch out, I'm not backing down

A battered and scraped capsule floated through space gently as a planet neared closer and closer. Inside Mira's eyes slowly opened to the glass window infront of her, she saw outside laid the vacuum of space. Her mind raced...where am I? The last thing she recalled was a dispute with another prisoner on the ship and sirens...it seemed endless sirens were ringing in her head. Was this some kind of execution? Either way things were out of her control. It was as if they had cast her out in a coffin...her anger raged within. Her eyes burned with rage as she bashed the window of the coffin...how it annoyed her to be in a situation she could not control or influence.

Feeling a sudden rush of panic she quickly felt around the cramped space capsule for anything. For some strange reason she had her Sith clothes, lightsaber and rations...if this was indeed a coffin, why would they cast her out with such valuable items. Unless this coffin was not designed for re-entry...time would soon tell as her capsule plummeted through the atmosphere of Dakar. She braced herself for possible death and contemplated death.

In the space over the planet Shimia in the Outer Rim, a light Imperial Customs corvette traded fire with an unknown assailant, an ex-Confederate Munificent-class frigate of unidentified allegiance; vessel fitting this description had been harassing police forces in the Outer Rim for some time now. The Imperial corvette's crew was frightened, as they were being soundly outmaneuvered. Whoever captained the opposing ship seemed to be an impressive strategist, unusually so for the pirates, slavers and other vagrants that normally contended with them.

The corvette shook as turbolaser fire cracked open her shields. Ion cannon impacts followed across the hull, shutting down many of her major systems. The engines cut out suddenly, stranding the craft, and the opposing frigate ceased fire. She moved in on the corvette, as though preparing for the kill, and then even closer. The Imperial captain struggled in ordering the crew to prepare to repel borders over the disorder as they put out fires and made emergency repairs, but the frigate did not attempt to dock with them, nor did it release any craft. It simply remained in place, parallel above them, and kept pace.
Then, after a moment, it simply pulled away, leaving the stranded Imperial crew confused. They would be stuck until they regained power, but they had somehow escaped certain death, and it was not clear what the opposing ship had even gained from the encounter. Surely they wouldn't take such a risk attacking an Imperial ship for no reason at all?

Unbeknownst to the Imperials, the frigate's sole crew member, a highly advanced battle droid, conversed with the ship's computer on the vessel's bridge.

"The download was successful, Audacity?" its electronic voice asked the room.

"Seven point two second remote splicing time, Zero-Zero-Two. A new personal record, I'm sure my programmers would be quite proud," a cheerful and distinctly feminine voice replied through the PA system.

What the Imperials did not know was that the Audacity's computer had spliced into and taken a vast amount of records from the corvette's own system remotely. Imperial Customs fleet movement and records for much of the Outer Rim was now available to them, very valuable strategic data.

"Prepare to jump, Audacity," the droid ordered. "It is imperative that we are not present when Imperial reinforcements arrive."

"Course has already been plotted. I am presently ready to jump, Zero-Zero-Two," the ship responded.

"Then do so, Audacity."

The vessel shot into hyperspace; little did the droids know, they would not end up at their intended destination, but that a hyperspace anomaly would send them to a place outside of time, a galactic nexus.

The Dragonhawk was a heavily modified YT-1930 light freighter, painted in blazing red and orange livery. It had become a feared, respected sight throughout the Outer Rim, but not just because of it's quadlaser turrets and concussion missiles. No, the presence of the Dragonhawk signified the presence of Vance Rosch, a Clawdite mercenary that had become one of the deadliest in his line of work. A known Jedi killer, few dared to cross him.

Scanning over his vessel's sensor screen, Rosch realized that the sector of space he was traveling through contained more than asteroids, comets and dark matter. There in fact, appeared to be a strange type of spacial anomaly not far from his position. It was something he had never encountered before.
Rosch's interest was piqued. Recently, all of the jobs that he could find were simple assassinations, shakedowns and security contracts. No challenge. But who knew what lay on the other side of the anomaly?

The Clawdite charted a new course.

The Black Scar shook violently as it's shields absorbed another hit from a turbolaser. Lord Saan balled a fist and slammed it into the display, but the sturdy device survived his punishment. He cursed his fortune, the republic had deployed faster then he expected. A single warship had managed to intercept his frigate and he was forced to abandon the more well supplied ship in favor of taking a few men and his family aboard his enhanced Fury-class Transport.

"Forward! Do not slow down if you value your lives!" He roared at the pilots, who were struggle to avoid starfighters and fire from the Republic ship. Saan could only stand and wait, as his goal grew ever closer, the anomaly. There was the source of the message, and in there awaited the power he needed to conquer the galaxy.

"My lord, if I divert power from the shields I can increase our power and get past those damned fighters. Your orders?" The Pilot requested. Lord Saan nodded, his fist tightening with eagerness. "DO IT! Aria, Malika, Harbinger!?! Prepare yourselves."

"Damn!" Hanias swore, watching from the bridge of the Never Surrender as the sith transport escaped. They had managed to chase off the Sith's frigate and repel their attempt at sending a boarding party, but their leader had escape into the anomaly.
Hanias sighed, folding her arms as she stood. "Good work wolves, tell hunter squadron to get back to the ship,"

"Yes, general." The communications specialist replied before turning back to his duties. As the squadron returned to the Never Surrender, Hanias stared at the hyperspace anomaly in the distance, it seemed to be growing weaker as they waited. Hanias considered her options, She was sent to investigate the situation but she doubted Master Adash would appreciate hearing that she had willingly jumped into an unknown space anomaly without contacting him first.

There's no time, the sith are in there and the door is closing, The thought was all that Hanias needed. There wasn't time to contact Master Adash and the rogue sith was already one step ahead of her, there was no time to be wasted.

"Full speed ahead! After those darkwelps!"

"Come on, buddy, don't do that! I know the Code rubs you the wrong way, and most of the people there won't give you the time of day, but moving out of the Jedi Temple? Are you serious? That's been your home your entire life. It's where you studied and trained and grew up, for crying out loud! Leaving isn't gonna make people respect you more. It's probably gonna do the opposite, and make them see you as a cop-out in addition to a rebel with a seriously bad attitude."

Andre Roy rubbed his eyes, sighed, and stared straight ahead at the stars outside the cockpit of his customized StealthX. He did not care what anybody said--he was sick of the Jedi Order. No matter what happened, they would never accept his differences. They were too arrogant, too stuck in their ways. Therefore, he saw no point in even affiliating himself with the organization. It was time to leave them behind, and start anew.

"Besides, what are you gonna do?" That was Jeremy Okarr again, flying off his left wing, trying to talk him out of his decision. "I know you've talked about getting a job as a security guard at Curtis' tech shop, but that's just crazy, man. You're a Jedi Knight, and you're gonna spend your time beating up petty thieves and scaring off potential customers?"
"It's better than being insulted and ostracized every kriffing day!" Andre replied. "Every last SOB in that Temple has turned their back on me. Even Simon. Even that perfect new Master, Fey-Li Cytei."
"I haven't," Jeremy pointed out.
Andre snorted. "Yeah, and take a look at your own reputation. Class clown. Underachiever. Ladies man. You're not exactly a shining paragon of everything the Jedi stand for, Jeremy."
"Eh, no argument there," Jeremy admitted. "But still.."

"But nothing!" Andre exclaimed. "This is my last mission as a Jedi Knight. Afterwards, I'll just be an...independent vigilante. Or a security guard. Or just another jock. I don't care. Anything's better than what I am right now."
"Okay, fine." Jeremy raised his hands in mock surrender, causing his astromech to beep a warning as he momentarily let go of his fighter's controls. "Look, there's that anomaly in space. Wow, it's actually kind of pretty. Let's get this over with, shall we?"

"We're hit!", a female bothan screamed over the blaring alarms. "Breach!" "Focus our shields over the left engine!" "We're taking fire!" The captain of the Alliance vessel Iron Hide scratched at his stuble. They had been sent out to search an anamoly, thinking it to be some type of Imperial experiment. Little did they know that the Imperials had nothing to do with it, save for the fact that they had a Star Destroyer and what appeared to be the whole freakin' armada out doing the same thing.

Rrl-Ki-Skyth, better known as Snake, gripped the wall tightly. Even though he wasn't a pilot, and hated being cold, he liked being in space. Well, he didn't like it when the Imperials were sending a barrage of fire down their throats. The captain's voice suddenly crackled to life over the comms system. "All hands evacute the Iron Hide. I repeat, all hands evacute!" Snake looked outside the window just a small ship, one of the landing crafts, was ripped to shreds just as it had barely left the docking bay.

Snake shouldered his survival pack, slung his blaster over his shoulder, and ran for the escape pods. The Iron Hide took another barrage of fire from the Imperials, shaking it to the core and knocking out some of the controls. The ship began to tilt off balance, placing Snake's escape pod on a direct course into the anamoly.

The pod ejected, swirling through space as the Iron Hide erupted in a shower of enemy cannon fire. A stray round nicked the pod, damaging some of the outer wall and sending Snake spiraling into the Nexus. Of course, by this point, Snake was used to being shot at. What he wasn't used to was the fact that he just went through a worm hole of sorts and A: Came out alive and B: Felt the pod heating up as if entering the atmosphere of a planet.

In the realms of the Outer Rim, an Acclamator-class assault ship that was painted with vibrant markings flew the realms of space. Standing at the bridge was the infamous pirate captain Rav Guinea. Ever since he and his crew acquired the vessel via raid on the ship yard where it came from, Rav and his crew gained fear from nearby Imperial, Zann Consortium, and other nearby pirate forces in the area. As such, they tended to avoid the sector, but there was always that foolish rich man who decides to take a short cut to the main space route. Of course, Rav was very selective in his targets and today, today was gonna be special. As the vessel waited, an unusual whisper echoed through the vessel, but the source could not be pin pointed. Rav looked around till he asked his First Mate, the Kushiban named Coon, "The hell is going on?"
"I don't know," Coon snapped back as he sat on a chair and one of his front paws was rubbing his forehead due to a headache, "but I keep hearing voices in my head saying that there is a great power."
Next thing they knew, the ship's hyperdrive system activated itself. Rav turned and asked, "Did I gave orders to jump?"
"No sir," one of the flight control members replied, "but it seems the ship has done it itself."
"Great, we probably have an AI on board," Rav complained.
"No sir," the crew member replied, "it's as if the actual ship is doing itself."
"What," Coon shouted when suddenly, the massive assault ship jumped into hyperspace, heading off towards the Nexus...

The Zhaetor-zhae al'Yun-Yuuzhan drifted through the Unknown Regions of space. The vessel was a miid ro'ik class ship, and one of the best in the Yuuzhan Vong fleet. But this was no ordinary ship: an unliving hunk of metal. No, the Zhaetor-zhae was alive. It was a fully fledged organism, twisted and changed by the Yuuzhan Vong to use as they see fit, like all of their technology.

The ship had no pilot, but rather a large mollusk-like creature known as a yammosk that was stored in a special area of the ship. It controlled the miid ro'ik, guiding it through the void. Officially, the ship was going into the Unknown regions in order to intercept an enemy vessel that contained intel that would greatly help the Yuuzhan Vong cause. But that was not why the ship was here. No, that was simply a story fabricated by the ship's commander.

The ship's commander was Rakkan Cha, and he had a secret. All his life, he had believed that he was khattaz al'Yun, the avatar of god. He thought he was trapped within his mortal shell, and had to find a way to attain full godhood. Such beliefs were heretical among the Yuuzhan Vong, and should the priesthood find out, he would likely be executed for blasphemy. And yet he still believed, and his thoughts were strengthened, now that he had heard the message.

It was incredibly faint, but he had heard it, telling him to go to the unkown regions in order to obtain great power. He would find this great power, and become a god.

Aviun drew a heavy breath as he boarded his Firefly-class transport, The Archangel. His fellow comrade, Arom, was recently sent on a mission to the outer reaches of the galaxy on a wild bantha chase or so he thought. Aviun had just received word himself that he was to go as well, as back-up for Arom and the crew, which was fine with him. He belted as he fired the engines up and ascended. After travelling what had felt like a million parsecs, he neared the destination point and began noticing something was awry. Everything just felt so...empty. "I got a bad feeling about this...", he muttered to himself under his breath. Mere moments later everything shut down and all that remained was darkness. He flipped various switches and punched random buttons, all to no avail. Suddenly, the systems came back online and everything became functional once again, however Aviun soon realized that he was , to his dismay, plummeting towards the surface of a strange planet.

"Oh kark..." was the only thing he could mutter before impact.

Far from the reaches of the Endor system, a patrol of Star Destroyers was on the move. Two mighty Imperial-class were on the sides of a surprisingly old, but still functioning Venator-class that served as the personal flagship for Admiral Gradin, one of the fastest rising in ranks leaders in the Imperial Navy. Of course, today was going to change for Gradin, as he stared out the window of the bridge of his ship, the Agera. As he watched, he heard comm channels going off from the other two Star Destroyers, saying on how the computer systems were locking on and hyperspace activation processes were on the way. Gradin ordered the ships, "Disengage immediately!"
However, despite best attempts, the ships' continued to manipulate themselves and suddenly jumped off, leaving the Agera. Gradin ordered, "Did you get their destination?"
"Yes sir," an officer replied, "should I-"
"Follow them," Gradin replied, "Yes!"
The command ship soon followed as the ship launched into hyperspace...

Dylan and his crew is scouting a sector that is said to hold a CIS ship that lay dormant.

when the Andromeda get's to the sector and send's out three relay drones to scout the area.

After a short time one of the drones comes back with a scan of the CIS ship that Dylan's employer where talking about .

Dylan walks over to his chair in the control room and sits down, he then presses down a button ''This is admiral Dylan speeking , i want all soldiers to be ready for combat and on theire stations before we gettin to close to that ship.I allso want all fighters to stay in the hangar this time , we are here to destroy it with gunpower and the right amount of cannons ,Dylan out''

he then turns over to the clone that controls the ships navigation system ''captain all engines on full power heading for that CIS ship ''

The clone nods and presses down the coordinates

When the Andromeda get's oup beside the CIS ship the crew starts to fire directly at all important systems and generators.
But suddenly the ship starts to move heading towards a Meteor belt.

''Follow her captain ''Dylan say's as he gives the fire teams order to shot right at her engines

Then like a blink of an eye the two ships jumps into some kind of hyperspace tunnel , just seconds later they jump out .

But the CIS ship is gone .

Dylan presses down the speaking button ''Report all KIA and MIA directly to the bridge and no one leaves this ship until i know what happened and where that ship went,Dylan out''

one of the clones that controls the ships sensors walks over to Dylan with a handheld screen ''Sir , we are orbiting a uninhabited planet and there is no imperial or CIS presence on it''

''well then maybe we are some where in the edge of the galaxy''Dylan says as he look's at the Clone

''order all clone troopers to pack their weapons and supplies we are going on a tripp''

((Getting the rest of my characters, and Clol's characters I'm covering for him, in))

Danna Vyrn, mercenary, sniper, and orphan.

And currently bored.

Boredom brought with it... other risks. Like allowing her to think about what had happened to her family. To her father-

She swiftly shut out the painful thought as surely as if a bulkhead had sealed in her mind.

No, she would not think of that. She was heading here, where this mission of 'unlimited power' had said to go... to give her something, anything, to do.

Surely someone here would need ot hire a mercenary, right?

It was better than being bored. Because boredom allowed her to face her grief... and she wasn't ready for that. Not yet.

She was so wrapped up in trying to fight off the pain that she didn't notice the anomaly she passed through, and did not, at first, realize that... she had arrived. There was sudddenly a planet ahead of her...

Where had that come from? There were no worlds out here...

*Danna has arrived on Aevon*
...........

Cathka Sarrac piloted the YT-1000 freighter through space, as "Boss", his Trandoshan front man, sat in the passenger hold. Ostensibly the leader of this mercenary gig, Boss was nothing more than a flunky, a figurehead, to take the heat off the real mastermind.

He had come seeking nothing short of the unlimited power that had been promised. He would take it, by any means necessary.

He was a very ambitious man, after all.

"Odd readings," he muttered, looking at his instruments, then looked up in time to watch the ship be sucked into the anomaly...

*Cathka has arrived on Dakar*
..............

"You have to be kidding," said the Sullustan pilot.

"No, that's where we're going," Teeliss Kohlee prompted, pointing at the spacial anomaly dead ahead.

"No. No way," the pilot replied emphatically. "I am not taking my ship in there. It would kill all of us."

"Then allow me to take the excursion craft," Teeliss suggested.

The Mirialan Jedi Knight was hellbent on arriving. He felt the hand of the Force at play, and knew he had to be there.

The pilot looked at him, as if gauging the cost of losing his precious excursion craft, against the cost of losing his ship and his life, due to this madman Jedi.

"Fine," he said at last. "Take it and go. And keep the blasted thing, I'm not returning. Ever."

"Fair enough," Teeliss sighed, heading back to the hold. Shortly after he'd taken out the one-man hypercapable craft, the Sullustan, true to his word, jumped far, far away from this strange and dangerous anomaly, and the lunatic who'd wanted him to risk ship and hide to enter.

.................
The slap came suddenly, stinging like an Ithullan Colossus Wasp.

Apparently, Mickey Hmau had been found out. He'd expected it, just not this soon. And he'd been rather hoping the beautiful captain wouldn't be this way when she did.

"Hey, now, there's no need for that," the Wroonian insisted, rubbing his blue cheek.

"Like Hell there isn't," the Captain snapped. "Get off my ship. NOW."

"But-" Mickey started to protest, trying to figure a way out of this.

"NOW!" the Captain snapped, and had the crew stuff Mickey into an escape pod, and jettisoned him.

Mickey sat in the pod, bruised from his assault, and brooded.

Oh, sure, he was an assassin. But this had nothing to do with that. No, his treatment had more to do with the fact that he had been stalking the captain, and she found incriminating evidence.

He didn't notice the pod drift through a bizarre spatial anomaly...

Allandra stood in front of the viewport, looking at the vastness of space.

She supposed, based on observation, that most beings would feel small, and insignificant, and perhaps become philosophical over the sight.

She did, to an extent. But more than that, she analyzed what she saw. She couldn't help it. It was basic environmental threat analysis.

Because, appearances to the contrary, she wasn't a normal woman. Allandra was a Human Replica Droid. And one programmed as an assassin by the Hutt Cartel.

Her latest job had been to kill the crew of this very vessel, in order to commandeer it and take it to this site of supposed 'unlimited power'.

Where there was power, there was sure to be conflict. And where there was conflict, her gastropod masters saw potential for profit.

She was meant to establish a foothold for them.

Allandra, had she been given the choice, would not choose this life. She went through with it- programming was programming. Yet, ever since her activation, she had questioned her own programming. She had been powerless to stop it, and feared letting the Hutts know about her inclinations. Because she had an inkling what they might do with her if they found she was being rebellious.

A memory wipe, a trip to the scrap heap, or worse, might await her.

So she endured it. And each life she took, she became more and more obsessed with finding out what 'life' even was. There was some special quality to it. To all appearances, it was random chemical reactions and biological processes. And yet...

There was something there, that made 'life' special. Something she wondered if she had, as a machine.

She caught sight of her reflection. What little garbled initial programming she'd had, let her know the face she saw was not only hers. It was the face of a dead woman- the real Allandra. Whose consciousness had been meant to inhabit her form.

But the Hutt Cartel had staged a daring raid via untraceably-hired mercenaries to steal HRD tech, when the transfer had been meant to take place. Allandra often wondered if any had in fact been transferred or not.

If so, was she- the mess of programming, assassination protocols, and personality, what organics might refer to as 'mind' and 'personality' that inhabited this form- Allandra in any real sense? Or was she something new? Was she, perhaps... alive?

These thoughts were of course probably nothing more than a programming flutter. But more and more, they ran through her processor. She devoted more and more time, when not assassinating anyone, to their thinking.

The machine cloaked as a woman hoped she might find more answers in this strange new place.

The Shooting Star, a customized SoroSuub Luxury 3000 yacht, cruised through space smoothly as comets streaked to and fro all around it. The vessel was a stately one, a fitting reflection of it's owner, Jedi Knight Alanna Dolan. The tall Wroonian sat at the controls, surveying the stars and comets with impassive yellow eyes. She was elegant and stylish, with the graceful air of a Kuati noblewoman, but her beauty was skin deep only. Inside, she was a cold, calculating ice queen, haunted by nightmares and disillusioned with the way that the Republic had fallen to the tyrannical Emperor Palpatine.

"Remind me why we're out here again." That voice belonged to Alanna's recently--and reluctantly--acquired partner, a former human soldier named Axton Lang. She met him about three months ago, when she had taken her damaged yacht to his shop for repairs. Imperial agents had tracked her to the location and tried to subdue both of them, forcing them to escape aboard the Shooting Star together. Although neither one was a fan of company, they realized that they would have a better chance of survival together, and grudgingly decided to team up. Which was not to say they liked each other. In fact, Axton's query broke a 20-hour streak of silence between him and Alanna.

"I picked up a strange energy signature near this asteroid belt," she replied, not sparing him a backwards glance. "Figured I'd see what it was."
"Just don't run into any comets," Axton muttered, going back to tinkering with one of his precious turrets.
Alanna's eyes widened when she saw the anomaly. It was a swirling, multicoloured vortex of energy in the middle of space, just sitting there, silently spinning, engulfing space rocks every so often. It was surreal and beautiful, like something out of a dream.
"Looks like something you'd see if you were on drugs," was Axton's comment.

Alanna didn't mind the snarkiness. It was actually kind of entertaining every now and again, although she would never tell him that. His attitude kept her grounded, kept her mind off the nightmares she sometimes had. "Should we go in?"
"Gee, I don't know, honey. You've got that spa treatment at five o'clock, and I need to catch the bolo-ball playoffs. Seriously, we've got nothing to do and Imperial assholes are hounding us at all hours of the day. Go in. What the hell do we have to lose?"

So in they went.

Technically, Brutus Monn was a bounty hunter, but anyone who'd ever met him would agree that the title didn't do him justice. He wasn't just a hunter, he was a predator. Being a Shistavanen, he was a natural carnivore, and his treatment at the hands of the Black Sun criminal empire had shaped him into one of the most ruthless killers in recent memory. In fact, Prince Xizor had been so impressed that he'd given Brutus a set of genetic augmentations that turned the already dangerous lupine into a full-blown super soldier.

5 years ago, Xizor had died aboard his skyhook when he had finally gotten on Darth Vader's bad side. Brutus wasn't present when it happened, so he survived, and went freelance, piloting his Rihkxyrk assault fighter (nicknamed Wolfsbane) to and from various jobs. His reputation alone was enough to get him a contract ahead of time, and he never failed. Never had, never would.
"Now that's an odd sight," the Shistavanen murmured as a spacial anomaly came into view in front of him. He had never seen anything like it, and considering the fact that he had no jobs to attend to at the moment, there was no harm in investigating.

Noatak stood patiently on the bridge of his ship the Cyrus. It was only a matter of time before they arrived at their destination, to discover his father's fate after the attack. The bridge was quiet despite being full of people, just as Noatak preferred it. He hated pointless noise, it was distracting and gave him no shortage of annoyance. He paced around the bridge for a moment, considering what to do once they arrived. The Cyrus and her escorts were on full combat alert, in case the Republic forces that had ambushed the Consumer were still around. A more curious part of his mind consider what would happen if Saan and his two youngest siblings were dead, what would become of the Blood Talons in the worst case scenario. Leadership would fall between himself and his remaining sister Malari, who no doubt had some cunning plot to gain power. Not that it particularly bothered him, Noatak was a warrior, he had no desire to lead a nation, a good battle fleet was all he needed. However, he wondered if Malari would attempt to manipulate him or simply kill him off in favor of one of her pets. As he thought of various scenarios in his mind, the doors to the bridge suddenly opened.

'Speak of the Demon..' Noatak mused. As Malari entered the room with a slow gait, flanked by the warrior woman Magus. "What do you want?"

"And hello to you, Noatak," Malari said smoothly. She stopped next to him and stared into hyperspace a moment before switching her attention to Noatak. "I simply wished to know when we are expected to arrive."

"Momentarily," Noatak said gruffly. He turned and approached the holotable at the center of the bridge. He didn't activate it but indicated a small screen on the console. "In a few minutes we'll be pulling out of hyperspace. Then..."

"Then?" Malari repeated, her tone playful yet curious.

"We find what state our Lord Saan is," Noatak finished with a sigh. "Will that be all?"

Malari simply laughed quietly. "My, brother. Such the military man, can't even spare time to talk to his sister?"

"You only talk when you want or need something," Noatak stated. "All people are is little game pieces to you. So spit it out already."

"My, my, so rude," Malari sighed. "But if I must, I shall waste your time no longer. I simply request permission to remain on the bridge. To observe our situation."

Noatak debated in his mind a moment, as Malari simply watched and waited. With a sigh, he nodded in defeat. "Very well, do as you wish Malari. You're not my subordinate anyway."

"My Lord Admiral and Lady, we are exiting hyperspace." Announced a crewman. As the hyperspace field disappeared and was replace by realspace. The Cyrus was on full combat alert, it's batteries ready for combat. But they were instead greeted by empty space and a strange anomaly. The crew was stunned by the sight of it, but none dared to make a sound of awe. Malari's eyes widen and Noatak mouth went agape, for a moment he simply stared before he could react.

"Status!" Noatak hissed to get the crew back to attention. "Are we being drawn in!?!"

"No sir, we came out just out of it's pull," A crewman reported. "But one of the transports came out too far and is getting pulled in."

"Damn!" Noatak swore. "Get me in contact, now!"

"Stand by Lord Admiral," He said. Then the holoimage of the transport's captain came up.

"There are no excuses, Lord Admiral-" He began.

"No time for that, this failure is my own," Noatak said. "Can you escape?"

"No, Lord Admiral. It's pull is too strong, our engines can't pull out and... What? Are you sure of this? Check it again!" The Captain said.

"Now what is it?" Noatak asked.

"My lord, it seems we are detecting a distress beacon left by the Black Scar, Lord Saan's personal ship," The Captain began. "It appears he entered this anomaly after escaping from the Republic forces and has ordered that any Blood Talon forces who receive this message are too--*Pzzt*"

"Contact lost, they entered the unknown anomaly," Reported the communications officer.

Noatak paused for a long moment. "There's no choice, we're going in."

"What!?!" Malari shouted. "You can not be serious, this just prove that Saan is dead. As is that ship."

"And if he isn't?" Noatak retorted. "I'm sure you'd rather be absolutely sure that he is dead before you began whatever black blooded trick you're plotting. But does that plan involve facing his wrath if he were to return?"

Malari paused for a moment, then huffed. "Do as you wish,"

"Glad you see reason," Noatak boasted. Glad to have finally upped her for once. "Attention all ships, this is Lord Admiral Noatak. We are entering the anomaly. The Cyrus will enter first, all others be on our tail. No not fall behind, you will have half of a standard hour to regroup once we are through."

And with that, the Blood Talon fleet entered the unknown.

The Nune-class shuttle deployed from the Star Destroyer, ready to investigate what their true Emperor deemed a 'call'. It seemed ridiculous to send stormtroopers and not his Imperial Knights, but none could be summoned and hence they had to send somebody. Dingo sat in his seat, watching the pilots till one of his troopers asked, "Sir, remind me why are we doing this?"
"Because your Emperor asked us to," Dingo replied back, "so unless your mother is on her death bed, you are going to do what I tell you to. Got it?"
"Yes sir," the trooper replied as Dingo swung back around. Suddenly, the pilot asked, "Hey, did you touch something?"
"No sir," replied the co-pilot. Dingo asked, "What's going on pilot?"
"Sir," the pilot replied, "I think the ship's computers are malfunctioning. Cause is undeterm-"
Suddenly, the ship disappeared and the Star Destroyer began to send a beacon, attempting to contact the ship, but to no avail.

As Ry'Dk opened his eyes he was greeted by the same sight which had greeted him time and time again. His modified AT-RDP was as bleak and lifeless as ever. That was what woke him. Life, or that thought of it atleast. He had felt his heart beating, and the burning desire to open his eyes and see his true home woke him from his sleep. But it wasn't really his heart. The rhythmic beating came from a synthetic organ as it pumped electrolytes and nanites through his body. His real heart had been damaged in the pirate attack years ago, along with many of his other organs and the vast majority of his body.

Now he was hollow.

A shell of the Echani he once was. A cyborg. He wasn't even classified as sentient by most peoples standards. Just another droid that looked more human. But he had once tasted freedom. Back before the Corporation had turned him into this harvester of souls. But there wasn't any going back. No redemption. Ry'Dk would remain the hollow harvester for the remainder of his life. Never again to feel anything besides cold metal.

But, what is this? Ry'Dk sought out the source of the voice that echoed in his mind. His scanners pointed him towards a nexus. Had something called his name? No. If no one would even look at him, why would anyone call out to him? Why would some sentient care enough to help him find life again? Could he, truly, feel life once more?

"Show me."

Preacher and his squad where flying in their CR-20 troop carrier ,they where supposed to check out a outpost where one of the subspace radars had gone black and where needing repairing .

This wasn't the mission that Nova signed up for when he joined the Echo team

''This is just degrading , sending us to repair some old broken piece of metal when we could be their beating down CIS robots and their clankers''

Specter walked in through the door and seperated the control room from the rest of the ship

''Nova calm down this radar is important to maintain control over the outer rim and the sector ''

''But why would they send us ??We aren't chef engineers.''

''We are one of the best squads in the sector Nova , and a subspace radar are not going dark without a reason .They are build to sustain top radar scans even when they are so broke that a flashlight got more energy ''

Preacher rise up

''okay squad this is not a normal routine mission , that radar where shot to pieces for two days ago .But some how it's still giving away a signal ''

''But if it is broken then how could it give away a signal , i mean that is impossible .A radar that are broken would just go into sleeping stance and stay that way ''

''exactly and that scare some top persons in the Senate so they send us to check it out ''

The Echo squad where droping out of hyperspace ,the door to the control room open .

''Captain Hawk here , i think you should see this .''

The squad runs up to the control room , in front of them is the subspace radar .

''Hawk is that the radar ??''

''yes sir but not the signal , the ships reads that the signal comes from two clicks away from here ''

The ships fly towards the signal but there is just empty space
The ships stops , but it continues to glide forwards

''Hawk why is we still going ??''

''its not us , something is dragging us into it , i try to boost the engine but they are not responding to my commands ''

Their was a roar as the Swift Hawk exited hyperspace. As it entered realspace, Norma Philipa sighed and ran a hand through her hair as the ship slowed to a calm flight. This had been the latest of far too many hyperspace jumps at this point. She and her crew had been fleeing for their lives in space ever since they left Coruscant, which had been overrun by the invading Yuuzhan Vong. Norma had never felt more tired in her life, but she couldn't sleep. Not after all that she had seen, she could only focus and distract herself.
"What is that?" Said 'Roach', a small verpine who was currently acting as her co-pilot.
"What is wh-" Norma stopped her question when she saw what Roach was pointing at.
"What... the... Frak?"
It was a huge space anomoly, unlike anything she had seen before. Norma was not the most expeienced spacer, but even she could tell that whatever it was. It wasn't natural. And that meant they shouldn't stick around another moment.
"Quick, boost engine power. I'm getting us out of here," Norma said.
"No good, it's drawing us in faster then I can get power." Roach replied.
Norma growled. "Then get the hyperdrive ready!"
"It's no use," Roach said. "We over worked it with the last three jumps. It's going to need repairs."
Norma sighed. "Then we're trapped. Great, just frakkin great. Hold on people this is gonna get bumpy."

....

Meanwhile in the personal quarters, one of Norma's crewmates entered the rooom in search of her datapad. As she rummaged through her belongings she noticed the bushy tail of a Tooka sticking out of her clothing drawer and the sound of shifting objects. But being so preoccupied with the search for her datapad she paid little heed. Finally she found the bag she had searched for.
Finally.... She thought. Getting up to leave, she saw the Tooka look up with a bad of credits in it's mouth and some of her clothes hanging off it's tail. She waved goodbye to the little pet and turned to leave when she suddenly stoped.
"Wait a parsec, no one here owns a Tooka." She said, wheeling around. "And what are you doing with my clothes and credits!"
Then the ship started shaking. And everything went to chaos.
