Title: RP Legacy OOC
Akela the Demon - November 25, 2010 10:17 PM (GMT)
Okay, next course of action?
Project34 - November 25, 2010 10:20 PM (GMT)
I'm gonna introduce our first boss soon, but that depends. Do people want to see the alien or carry on the current convo?
Akela the Demon - November 25, 2010 10:21 PM (GMT)
Well, not now, soon though, as soon as everyone (I mean TRK, who hasn't posted yet to hear the convo) is up to date.
Certia - November 25, 2010 10:22 PM (GMT)
So we're instatly going to the first boss? Time to get things moving!
I really like this RP. Much more fun when I'm not dying from hypothermia.
Clol7 - November 25, 2010 11:52 PM (GMT)
Just set myself up as The Watchman.
dilly_dilophosaur - November 26, 2010 03:24 AM (GMT)
Thinking of joining this, though I'm still hammering out the details of the power I wanted to go for with P34 before I do up a profile or anything.
Akela the Demon - November 26, 2010 04:17 AM (GMT)
Also, if you're wondering what I drew, imagine this....

Combine with a Tank.

You mean, we're going to be using THAT as our transportation!? D:

Clol7 - November 26, 2010 04:19 AM (GMT)
In other words, you drew awesomeness.
dilly_dilophosaur - November 26, 2010 09:07 PM (GMT)
I've been persuaded to join the RP. P34 and I have worked the kinks out of my power- I bet you'll all agree it's PERFECT for me. XD
RPLegacy Name: dilly_dilophosaur
Power: Dilly's acquired a power utterly suited to his hyperactive zaniness: the ability to cause himself and, if he so chooses, the environment around him and/or the people around him to adhere not to real-world physics, but cartoon physics (think Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, etc). This, of course, implies a wide range of abilities, including the capacity to change clothes instantly, whip out a black spot, slap it on a wall, and step through (before yanking it off the opposite side of the wall, making it impassable to any pursuers), have an almost endless carrying capacity in his back pockets (he can, in short order, pull a fridge, a giant anchor, a 747, and an Iowa-class battleship out in short order, and STILL have room in there) as well as the ability to yank out just about anything he needs, survive almost any physical trauma in a comedic fashion and be fine within five minutes, run fast enough to leave either fire in his wake or a dust cloud in his image (as well as yank the road up off the ground), and so on and so forth. The major drawback of this ability, however, is that his abilities only work so long as Dilly can think of some comedic use for them- if he can't think of a way to induce comedy by, say, running through a wall and leaving a cartoon cutout of himself behind, then he will react to running into said wall as any normal person would.
Height: 6'0"
Bio: One of RPL's most frequent visitors, Dilly can always be counted on to not only come up with memorable plot lines and epic battles, but act as the site's unofficial comic relief as well, both in the actual RPs themselves as well as in the Spoof-An-RPG thread.
Anyways, I'll try to post whenever I can manage to actually read through the RP and figure out what's going on. ;)
Starkiller1195 - November 26, 2010 10:20 PM (GMT)
How is that not godmodding?

Depends on what is 'funny'.
dilly_dilophosaur - November 26, 2010 10:38 PM (GMT)
As Clol7 pointed out, if my in-RP self can't figure out anything FUNNY to do with it- and it has to be 'funny' by more than MY definition- my powers don't work. For example, I can't do the reacts-to-being-fried-by-turning-into-a-pile-of-ashes-and-blinking-eyes routine if I don't have a gag to go with it. In that sitatution, I'd react to fire like a normal human being.
In addition, there is every chance you can use my powers against me- for example, if you're familiar enough with cartoon physics and I'm causing you to adhere to them at any given point, then all I've done is made things interesting rather than giving me a real advantage over you. You can use it against me just as much as I can use it against you- nothing stopping you from using the cartoon-physics thing to, say, yank a proton-beam cannon from your back pocket and vaporize my head- that'd be quite the sheer comedic overkill, after all.
It's not really all that powerful- it, like me, is more of a comic-relief power that can occasionally be useful in the right situations. I'm more of a distraction than any real threat- no one dies under cartoon physics, after all. If I can survive it, so can you. ;)

dilly_dilophosaur - November 26, 2010 11:09 PM (GMT)
Anywho, I'll try to get caught up on this when I get home later on this weekend. Gonna be heading out tomorrow early-ish, so I probably won't have time tomorrow. ;)
Clol7 - November 27, 2010 05:19 AM (GMT)
Just for people who don't know what 343 guilty spark is here is a picture.
Project34 - November 27, 2010 02:40 PM (GMT)
Okay, i've decided that i'll introduce the first bad guy when we get in the covenant ship. Also why did we introduce Sparky? I'm not saying this to be a turd but he will mess with what i've got planned, so can we have him offed or prevented from going in the ship please?
Akela the Demon - November 27, 2010 02:58 PM (GMT)
Sparky could get kidnapped, and that could be a subplot.
Clol7 - November 27, 2010 06:49 PM (GMT)
Just tell him to stay behind, or he could be offed and replaced.
I have another idea as well.
Project34 - November 27, 2010 06:51 PM (GMT)
Clol7 - November 27, 2010 07:12 PM (GMT)
LEGION from mass effect 2

or
CABAL From Command & Conquer

OR
Cortana from halo

I prefer legion
Either way, sometime soon a certain spartan will have to go ape**** and beatdown Spark
Project34 - November 27, 2010 07:54 PM (GMT)
So... these are going to kill Sparky?
Clol7 - November 27, 2010 07:57 PM (GMT)
No, Vette is going to kill sparky and ONE of these is going to replace him.
Project34 - November 27, 2010 07:59 PM (GMT)
May i ask why? I don't see why a Sparky-esque character would be essential to the plot.
Clol7 - November 27, 2010 08:01 PM (GMT)
Personally I like the all knowing, (Or at least mostly knowing), AI characters.
Project34 - November 27, 2010 08:03 PM (GMT)
Okay, thats alright. You can keep your pet... for now.

*Prepares Splazer* What? Why must you be a buzz kill?
Clol7 - November 27, 2010 09:57 PM (GMT)
What would you have prefer vette?
out of spark, Legion, CABAL, or Cortana?
Corvette-117 - November 27, 2010 10:09 PM (GMT)
Neither, I'd say there should be no all-knowing character (unless God or Chuck Norris will be featured in the rpg)

They aren't all knowing, they just know more than normal people.
P.S. Chuck Norris would make the RPG too easy, unless he is the bad guy.
Project34 - November 27, 2010 10:20 PM (GMT)
I've got an idea for Sparky, which ties pretty nicely into the story. It'll give him a bit of usage when explaining our villains origin.

Chuck Norris an enemy? Obviously you didn't know that Chuck Norris never fights the enemy. Enemies die at the mere sight of him.
Clol7 - November 27, 2010 10:30 PM (GMT)
So he is the reverse of Medusa?
People must see him to die?
Back when he was in movies there must of been a real shortage of women.
Corvette-117 - November 27, 2010 10:44 PM (GMT)
No. They commit mass suicides because they think it'll be better for them.
Clol7 - November 27, 2010 10:46 PM (GMT)
Project34 - November 27, 2010 10:48 PM (GMT)
Well, i think that was a good introduction to our main villain.
Clol7 - November 27, 2010 10:54 PM (GMT)
So, our main villain is Spark, or The Red Eyes?
If it's spark, I have a feeling of deja vu.
Project34 - November 27, 2010 10:55 PM (GMT)
Red Eyes, that's our villain.
