OK 4th ed is out - so has anyone got a hold of it and had a look through?
Some are saying its the end of DnD (of course these would be the ones that did not have their 3.5ed books defused and so lost them on the 6th to the internal bomb) whilst others are welcoming the simplification of the system.

I have heard that a lot of things (characters and spells) have been cut, but part of me wonders if this has been done only so as they can cash in on them later with another expansion book release

Well anyone still saying its the end of D&D, frankly, is a retard

If they're judging it before having read any of it, then they're a retard, and if they're judging it after having read it, then they're missing how the system lost all of the stupid from 3.5 and added a whole ton of awesome, and is thus a retard

I'm playing my first proper 4th Ed next week. At last I'll get to sat if I love, hate or simply feel neutral towards it.......

From looking at the PHB and DMG it looks pretty cool and a fairly severe break with past. A good thing in my opinion. Mind you cutting out some dragon types in the Monster Manual is just a bit naughty. So when the release the Monster Manual II or what ever I suppose I'll have to get.

BTW does anyone a pdf version of any of these? An electronic version is much lighter than a paper version........ If I get one in the mean time, I'll let folks know. I'm only a FTP site away........
