This year, Randolph will be going to a couple of congress events. One of these is fast approaching, which is the Ridge Debates. Before we go, we must submit legislation. This is in the form of either a bill or a resolution.

A bill shows an issue that must be dealt with, and says the actual way in which this problem will be solved. Actual dollar values/periods of time (if applicable) should be placed in the bill.

A resolution says that there is a certain problem, and that the congress should resolve to fix this problem. The way in which this happens is not actually placed in the resolution, or is placed in more general terms.

Either way, we need some to use this year. Got an idea? Give it here!

I'll start it off, with a common bill. Whoever gives the authorship speech on this one should defend it due to the assigned values to whoever lives in individual states, thereby being unjust due to inequality.

A Bill to Abolish the Electoral College

1. Be it enacted by the Student Congress here assembled that:
2. Section 1: The electoral college process in American elections
3. will be abolished.
4. Section 2: As a replacement, the popular vote will be the
5. determining factor in all subsequent elections.
6. Section 3: All laws or portions of laws in conflict with this legislation
7. are hereby declared null and void.
8. Section 4: This law will go into effect immediately upon passage.

Respectfully Submitted,
