hello fans of decent music,

so, the summer is nearly upon us and bringing with it the world cup too. rock on. this means that us WHEREWITHAL guys ‘n’ dolls (like a cross between THE SUNDAYS and PRETTY GIRLS MAKE GRAVES apparently !) (we are chums of THE SMYTHS and have supported them in the past by the way - and we're also chums with BOZ BOORER and looking to work with him soon too !) will not be doing much giggage for the coming months. not just so that we can watch the world cup but because we’re also going to be recording an album. oh yes. look out for that later in 2006.

meanwhile, before we go into self-imposed hiding we will be doing a big send off gig on FRIDAY 2ND JUNE 2006 in the cellar bar at the THE MALTINGS in FARNHAM. we will be supporting our good chums (and a band that has at one stage or another featured 2 members of WHEREWITHAL helping them out !) THE OUTFIT with their own versions of high energy 1977 to 1982 era punk classics. FESTER will be the first band on on the night. it promises to be a cracking night and will give you the chance to hear some of the new songs we’ve been working on before we commit them to tape. so, seeing as this could be your last chance to catch us for a while there really are no excuses. we’ll see you there. doors open at 7.30pm and tickets are £5 in advance or £6 on the door, available from the box office – 01252 726234 / www.farnhammaltings.com
