Once a prudence scout picks up a Psi, an Inertial is usually tasked to keep track of that particular psi's activities to keep them from taking advantage of Norms. They follow him based on the psychic field he generates, attempting to counter his talent wherever he goes. The more powerful the Psi, the more Inertials are assigned to keep tabs on him. Lately, Ray Hollis has taken to tasking his Psis with killing off the Inertials who are sent to negate them.
These Inertials report back to the Map Room via vidphone, where they record that Psi's last whereabouts. In the Map Room is a huge screen with Identflags of both Psis and Inertials. Prudence Organizations cannot afford for any one Psi to disappear on them. Here's a list of who is assigned to who.
