So I thought I make a new topic on what games you're currently playing. You can write up the game here, and put a quick review on it if you want.

Recently I got a PS3. So far, it's a breath of fresh air. I was so tired of all the lack of mature content on a Nintendo system. And the system was hardly getting any non Nintendo franchises anymore (soul calibur for example wasnt released on it).

So I am happy to finally own a system besides it. The main reason we got a PS3 over a 360 is for the sole factor alone of

Metal Gear Solid 4 guns of the patriot

So far first impressions of it are A+ cut scenes. Hideo Kojima is probably one of the best video game directors around when it comes to directing cut scenes. He really tries to make an epic movie like feeling for the game, with everything that goes on be relevant towards the plot.

The game play is pretty hard so far though, nothing I am used to. It feels harder than the previous metal gears, as there are not as many places to hide and the AI is more realistic. Its not just pick up and play and mow everyone down rambo style. It's tactical espionage, that sometimes feels like it takes too much thinking.

It's pretty challenging for me at the moment, since I am mostly a get in there and fight type of guy, but hopefully I get used to it quicker. The game feels very epic from what little I've seen so far from it.

Bkk that sounds awesome brah.

ALRIGHT!!!

Well for me ive been playing halo 3 for the xbox 360 lately and lemme tell ya that this game is so damn fun and hard both at once. Its a first person shooter based game that many go online and fight eachother in many game types such as King of the hill, slayer, oddball, capture the flag, ect.

In Halo 3 talking and planning with your teamates is essential to conquer the opposing team. Also calling out your position along with the other teams position is essential to turn the tables on the opposing team Thingy.gif .In halo 3 you can acquire so many weapons such as a sniper, rocketlauncher, battle rifle, shotgun, assault rifle,AND MORE dancebanana.gif

I'm Playing The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princes again, but this time...
I'm attempting to clear it with just 3 hearts and one bottle.

I've cleared WindWaker, made it to Gorudo dessert in The Ocarina Of Time with 3 hearts and one bottle, so I'm just continuing the same method with Twilight Princes.

I think I'd better go back and finish Ocarina Of Time someday.
Then start on doing the same with Majura's Mask.

Well I got to see the end of Metal Gear Solid 4.

For anyone who owns a PS3, its a must buy game if you like mature well written war stories. I'd say out of all the games I've ever played in my life Metal gear has the best cut scenes. In the end of Metal gear there was a 1 HOUR cut scene, talk about epic endings. When I thought it was over, the credits just rolled and more went on at the end about 20 minutes more. Real cool stuff, this Game cuts absolutely no corners, it was pure raw quality and a flawless game. Not very often I can say that for a game, but I got no complaints for this one. To me this game is *how* you are supposed to tell a story in a game, without the censorship, but still with some class.

Wow, one hour cut scene?! O.O
I never knew they would do that for a video game.

Me neither, it was a really nice surprise. The cool thing about MGS4 was that the cut scenes were constant too. It's a nice way to reward the gamer. I will probably go back and just watch the cut scenes in order later on without playing the game. There is probably like 3 hours worth of cut scenes in this game alone. It will be a hard game to beat by anyone when it comes to cut scenes. Makes me wonder how much it cost them to make the game, and how much they got back.

Well I am currently trying out

Soul Calibur 4

I loved all of the old Soul Caliburs, so I was looking forward to this one.
My favorite of the old ones was 3, just because there were so many customizable options, and they had some cool story modes where you could play your made up character in. It was probably the best fighter around, when it came to substance and game play.

I expected the 4th game of SC to exceed that, but well doesn't look like it will. To me it looks like they sacked a lot of game play for online playability. The story mode takes about 4 minutes for each character and there are no special cut scenes, only text you read like some 80s game. The text isnt even good, its hardly readable for me 8 feet away from the TV.

I feel like they didnt even test this game. I felt that way about Pokemon D/P after I played it in Japanese too, like they had half ass testers before they released it, or none at all. Any how, the actual fighting is *decent. A step down from 3 for sure, but it's a slightly above average fighter. I just look forward to the next good fighting game on PS3. Good thing I rented this.

I found my two Golden Sun games after loosing them for a long time, and I remembered how I got addicted to them when I first played them. I'm taking a break from Pokemon to relive the awesomeness of these classic games. I'm sure some of you should play the old games from GBA, SNES, N64, ect... doesnt matter. Games were made to entertain us.

Been playing the expansion for WoW, Wrath of the lich king. Gotta say it's probably my most enjoyable PC gaming experience so far, or just up there among my best gaming experiences in general. The quests are so good and they actually lead up to cinematics! Some of them are minor cinematics where I see characters gather talk to each other and I have to take part in big fights in the game. And others you actually get to watch a stunning cut scene.

I actually got to fight my way up to this part;
http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/wrath/wrathgate.xml
(spoilers)
and some how survived it and had to deal with the aftermath! It was some bad ass stuff. I hope there are more cutscenes left like that one in the game.
