First of all, Everyone is to abide by these rules, with no exceptions. Consequences for breaking these rules are as follows:

Offense 1: A warning through PM.. we are serious.
Offense 2: A second warning, with extra time between posting and searching. We can do this.
Offense 3: Suspension, for up to 5-10 days, depending on severity.
Offense 4: Suspension for 20-30 days.
Offense 5: Banned from the site for good. We can and will block your I.P. address, your email, etc. We think we have gave you enough chances at this time.

Note: The Admins can go directly to suspension/Ban, depending on the offense. We take this all very seriously, so before you read the rules, please remember them, even if you have to read them more than once.


Registration


* This RPG is rated PG-14. This means that it is exactly what it is, there will be no pornographic material. Kissing, hugging, etc. is okay. You may imply sexual activity, please keep it at a minimum though, some members do not want to read it.
* This is a beginner - intermediate role-play. Posts should be well defined and should have a minimum of three to five sentences per post. Less is fine, but use less very rarely. We will PM you if you are not writing enough in a post.
* Activity is required. If you plan to join, please keep characters as active as possible. If your character falls inactive for more than two months, you are subject to be deleted . This rule does not apply to those who post that they are leaving in the absence forum. We know people have problem with computers, and/or going out of town.


Applications

* Every character on this site has a 'bio'. This is a thread where all of your character's appearance, personality, and history will be stored. Please remember to update it every few months or so. You get only one thread per character.
* Make sure you are using the correct form. If you do not know, ask!

Behavior Basics

* There will be no flaming, bashing, disrespect, or harassment of any member of our board. Doing so, will result in immediate suspension, and then discussions among the admins and the member offended as to the length of time of suspension, up to and including permanent. Repeated offenses will result in an immediate, permanent ban, no exceptions, no discussions. This includes racism, sexism, any other prejudices.
* Do not backseat moderate. This means, do not take rule-breaking matters into your own hands. If you see posts of the above nature, report them to an admin, rather than telling the person off. Anyone who does this will be subjected to the same consequences as the person who committed the offense in the first place.
* Admins have the final word. Don't argue with us. Debating is fine, but we have things the way they are for a reason; trust us. We are fair, mean well, and merciful. All sides of the issue will be looked at in a calm manner, privately through PM. Issues that involve the entire board, may be voted on by the entire board.


Character Information

* Characters are the most important part of this board. Without active characters, this board will cease to exist. Please keep your characters unique, and true to form. Not every character will be entirely beautiful and have everyone falling all over them. Also, not every character will have some sort of disease, mental illness, dead parents, etc. We don't really appreciate sob storys, pity characters. If your character was raped, abused, and his/her parents were murdered by someone right in front of them when they were young...for the love of...rethink your history if it has been used too much.
* Applications will be looked at in a short amount of time. We do not want our inboxes flooded with requests for us to accept you out right away. We are not blind/stupid. We know you are there. If we have not looked at your application after three days, then you may PM one of the admins.
* Remember to add: ‘A million years ago, life was plain and simple’ to the bottom of your bio. This ensures that you have read the rules. We will not accept your bio until then.
* There is no god-modding or powerplaying here. You cannot control any characters but your own. No character will be all-powerful. All characters will have weaknesses, we hate this if there is no weakness. There will be no Mary Sues or Gary Sues here. If you don't know what these are, they are characters that are perfect in every way, suck life and excitement out of roleplaying, never do anything wrong. We don't want these, and will pm you if we see this.

Characters & Role-Playing

* Only post in topics that are open for you to post in. Closed threads should be left alone unless you receive permission from the characters involved. Warnings and suspensions will be given out freely for this, without exception. This means, that If a topics description says some thing like Closed!, Winnie, For Kara, Tabby and Ryan, do not post in it, these will be deleted and a notice will go out to you.
