Final Assualt, Government Base A-5, Dr.K's stronghold.

[Phantom]

Phantom stood on top of a tall, dead tree, observing the thousands of droids below him. They were all moving towards the bunker that housed base A-5, the last Government base. With this base destroyed, the Government would cease to exist. Phantom had tried to strike a deal with Dr.K but all his envoys were killed. So, here he was, getting ready for the attack.

As leader of the Allied Army, Phantom had positioned his droids on the southern side of the base, where the main entrance was. Onikaze's hybrid army would attack from the east, the Commander's demon army would strike from the north, and the human forces would attack from the west. This would spread out the enemy forces, meaning their lines would be easier to break.

Phantom jumped off the tree and landed in the driver seat of a hover craft. He stopped the craft until the reached a small hill, which would give him a good view of the battle. Base A-5, unlike the others, was completely underground. There are four main entrances, one on each side and a number of tunnles that would lead to the base. Though Phantom had worked here for a while, there was still many parts of the base he hadn't been to. This is it, he thought has he heard explosions. The final battle with the Government had began.

[Onikaze]

"CHARGE!" Onikaze roared as a green flare went off into the air. Thousands of Hybrids charged down the east hill towards the base. Automated Machine Gun turrets came out from the ground and started firing, killing hundreds of his Hybrids. Onikaze however, created fireballs and destroyed any turret that stood in his way. As his troops got nearer, Government soldiers charged out, but they were no match for the powerful Hybrids. In a matter of minutes, they were wiped out.

Onikaze created a huge fireball and launched at the steel door. It broke free and the Hybrids charged in. Demons were already waiting for them. Onikaze began slashing every Demon he could find. He had been waiting for this attack and it finally happened.

[Dr.K]

Dr.K stared a monitor displaying the battle at the east entrance. He was in his command center, located deep within the base. Officers ran back and forth, communicating with others and comparing reports. Dr.K simply stood there, staring at the screen. He couldn't believe that east entrance was breached.

Dr.K had spent many months building the defenses around base A-5. He and his generals knew it was impossible to withstand Phantom and the Allied Army but Dr.K didn't want to go down without a fight. A-5 was the last base remaining and Dr.K, as the only leader of the Government was charged to defend it. He regretted killing those who had opposed them, if he had not, then they would've helped him.

He walked over to the intercom and said, "Attention soldiers. This is the final batte. Show the enemy no mercy as they will show you none. Do not expect to return home alive. For the Government!" The doctor sighed as he walked back towards his desk and sat down on his big executive leather chair. He was trapped in this base, with no family left, no friends that would help him, and no place to go. That is perhaps why he choose to make a stand here, along with the few others that were still loyal to him.

Dr.K stared at the reports that layed in front of him: The Hybrid Army had now engaged his demons in combat in the East Wing. Dr.K opened a drawer and took out a small bottle labled "Cynide." He took out four tablets and put them in his pockets. Dr.K sighed again and quickly fell asleep.

[Onikaze]

"KILL MY MINIONS! LEAVE NONE ALIVE!" Onikaze roared to the other hybrids. They were now engaged in a all out battle with thousands of demons. Onikaze could tell these demons were made in desperation, as they had no fighting skills and mainly depending on numbers rather than skill. They were not the same demons he had commanded before. Onikaze sliced the head off of another demond and took a look around him. The Hybrids were completely slaughtering the demons.

The eastern entrance was a small one, leading towards the East Lobby, which contained the computer labs and offices for high-ranking officials. From the main door to the lobby is a four mile long tunnel leading towards the core of the Earth. Onikaze was sure that this road would be filled with these cheap demons and the idea of having his Hybrids fight a four mile long tunnel full of demons was startling.

He turned to his aid and said, "Send in the reserves." The other hybrid nodded and left. With reserves to boost up his numbers, Onikaze felt confident he could make it fast the demons.

[Phantom]

Phantom continue to watch from the hill as his droids started to swamr the entrance. Defense turrets fired deadly projectiles at them, and the machine guns and rocket launchers added to the number of droid casualties. However Phantom's own artillery and tanks were firing back, reducing the bunker into nothing. Phantom was surprised by the retalitation he was receiving. He clearly underestimated Dr.K's abilities. He and the others believed that Base A-5 would fall within a day but judging was from the counter-attacks the Government was sending, this battle would last longer.

The droids retreated a distance before re-grouping and attacking again. Before them was a huge junkyard filled with broken parts, dead droids, and destoryed equipment. Phantom had called up his air units to support the attack. He jumped out of the hover vehicle and landed on the ground. About twenty ninjas surrounded him. This was the special assualt group that consisted of Phantom's best ninjas and they are going to assassinate Dr.K.

Phantom nodded to them and almost immedialty, the group went on the move. Phantom followed quitely behind them, thinking about the opposition he would recieved once sinde the base.

[Dr.K]

Dr.K woke up when a junior officer handed him a report. It said that the demons at the East Entrance were pushed back and the commander in charge of defending the eastern side of the base needs reinforcements. Dr.K looked at a computer screen and realized that all his reserves were sent into battle and there was no troops he could spare. The demons at the east would have to fight for themselves.

He walked up to the screens and saw that only the east entrance was breached. The demons at the north were being pushed back by the heavy firepower Dr.K's guns would fire, the droids were having trouble getting past the auto-defenses, and the humans were being slaughtered by the demons. Dr.K smiled for the first time in days, he might actually win this battle.

[Hyourinmaru]

Hyourinmaru had heard from his sister that phantom was planning something. on his way to the las remaining governmen base to clean out his records he heard phantom was in that area so he wwent to check it out.

[Kagami]

Kagami walked down a deserted corridor deep down in Government base A-5. This corridor was deserted, like it had never been used in years. Cobwebs and junk were everywhere. She had no idea how she ended up here but all she could remember was during the attack on the East Wing, a demon and struck her in the head and she lost consciousness. When she woked up, she was here. Though Kagami had worked here for a while, there were still many parts of the base she had never been too.

Kagami was worried about her brother Hyourinmaru. She had not heard from him since the attack on the Rebel base. Though Phantom had told her that he had seen Hyourinmaru and that her brother was OK, Kagami was still worried. Phantom hated Hyourinmaru and she wondered if he was lying. Her brother was her last living relative and she didn't want to lose him. Lost in her thoughts, Kagami continued on.

[Phantom]

Phantom and the group stopped when they reached a small open field in between the south and the west entrances. Phantom took out a small metal detector and scanned the ground with it. He stopped until the scanner began to beep and he ordered the others to start digging. Moments later, they found a small rusting door and Phantom blew it open. Following Phantom, they entered.

Phantom had led them into an old abandoned tunnel. Few knew this tunnel exists, for it pre-dates the explosion. This tunnel was made during the construction of the base in the 1980s and after the base was completed, they sealed off the tunnel. Phantom found it when he was exploring the base and thought it might be usefull. The group fixed their nigh-vision goggles onto their eyes, for it was pitch black in here, and continued. Phantom walked slowly in the front, careful not to make any noise, for above them was a lab. He could hear the generators roaring in the distance and smiled. The generators were here after all.

[Onikaze]

Onikaze howled with delight as he and his Hybrids fought their way through the tunnel. This wasn't warfare, it was slaughter. Bodies lay everywhere and blood of every color stained the steel ground. The demons aren't fighting as much as before and Onikaze guessed that their commanders, which were human, must have fled. Without the humans to command them, the demons would be useless.

The other Hybrids also howled. They had killed over a thousand demons while losing about fifty of their own. With the reserves coming in, they were unstoppable. Onikaze pointed his halberd forward, indicating for his troops to continue on.

[Phantom]

Phantom and his group causiously continued. Though they know this tunnel is abondoned, they were afraid of alamaring the guards above them. After a few more minutes, Phantom signalled the group to split up. Ten ninjas would turn right and attack the Generator Room and he and the other nine would continue on until they reached the supply rooms. After they sabotage these two locations, then it was time to go find Dr.K and kill him. Phantom smiled as he ordered the group forward.

[The Ace]

The Ace stood at the Main Control Center. Though he was here, the battle was actually directed by Dr.K, who was in his private control room. The Ace's job was to put Dr.K's orders into action and to attract enemies here where the elite guards would finish them off. The Ace was one of the few generals to still remain at Dr.K's side, the others had either fled or killed by the Ace for desertion.

The Ace looked down at a 3-D model of the base, thinking of what to do to defend against the Hybrids at the east. He had never agreed to the Hybrid idea. The Ace was dressed in standard Government battle suite, a blue shirt and jeans with four stars on his shoulder blades. This indicated that he was a four-starred general, the highest rank that can be obtained by a general. Besides him were Dr.K's best tacticians but even they can't think of what to do.

Useless, The Ace thought. He left the model and sat down in his chair. He gazed up at the ceiling, waiting for Dr.K to make a command.

[Dr.K]

Dr.K paced back and forth in the command room. Things weren't going as expected in the East Wing and with his demon army getting slaughtered, Dr.K couldn't think of a good plan to stop them. Of course there is the counter-insurgency unit, he thought. But then he remebered that the counter-insurgency unit hadn't been properly it and sending them against a pack of angry, bloodthristy hybrids was suicide.

Dr.K walked over to the phone and said, "Ozawa, report what is happening."

[The Ace]

"Sir I just recieved a report saying that the commanders at the east fled and now the demons army is in full disarray," the Ace said, "also the commanders in the south reports heavy artillery fire and bombing. They require immediate reinforcements or their lines may collapse."

[Dr.K]

"GODDAMNED IT!" Dr.K yelled out so loud, that everyone in the room stopped working and stared at him. He told them to get back to work and thought, No choice left but to send in the counter-insurgenct unit. "Ozawa send in the counter-insurgency unit," Dr.K said, "as for the south, I'll see what I can spare."
