[Tetroneaque]

Tetroneaque was still going over some schematics for his latest weapon. A powerful artillery piece capable of firing with pinpoint accuracy over an almost ridiculous distance, as long as there was someone to paint the target for the artillery. He was trying to figure out a way to increase the velocity of the round for better penetrating power against fortified targets when a fury drone entered the room.

Tetroneaque swiveled his hovering chair to face the drone. "What is it?" He asked in a passive tone. The drone simply handed Tetroneaque a report, as most drones lacked the ability to speak.

Tetroneaque glanced over it, it looked like the same old same old. The weekly mining report. Diamonds mined were up 5% other useful metals had a 12% increase in amount mined over last week. That was nice as he needed all the resources he could get when something odd caught his eye.

"Unknown metallic ore discovered. Three diamond drills broke trying to harvest it. Preliminary scans show unique atomic makeup." He read aloud.

"A new metal discovered that is harder than diamond? That could be quite useful but how are we to find a use for it if we can't even mine it?" He wondered aloud. He looked back at the report. Apparently scans through the rock showed there wasn't a terribly large amount of the ore. Perhaps enough to make three fury drones out of with a little left over. Not much at all.

"Simply get it out of the surrounding rock. Harvest it as one huge chunk if need be and take it to my geo-lab. I'd like to study this specimen as soon as possible." Tetroneaque said handing the report back to the drone. It saluted and hurried to do as ordered.

After the drone was gone Tetroneaque stroked his chin as he thought.

"Not enough for any real military value. Perhaps a nice distraction though. I could use a change of pace." He said thinking out loud again.

Raylin pushed himself up out of bed. He yawned and went over to his closet for some clothing and slung on his armor. He exited his room, buckling on his twin swords. Outside his room, there seemed to be a lot of commotion, so Raylin set out to find Tetroneaque.

He found Tetroneaque in the computer room and went up to him. "Whats all the commotion this morning Tetro?" Raylin glanced at the paper in Tetroneaque hand and read it. He came up with the same conclusion of Tetroneaque's and said, "Not much of it, thats for sure. Three drills broke trying to get it...that must be some hard stuff. I wouldn't mind trying to turn some of it into swords, or try to combine the material with my swords. It might have some weird powers even."

"From the report would should have enough to perhaps make two very special fury drones, with a bit left over. I suppose somehow combining it with your swords or even creating a bit of armor might prove beneficial." Tetroneaque stated.

"However, it's so hard I'm not even sure how we're going to craft with it. I'll need to run some tests to see if we have anything that can break it down into a malleable form for us to work with. Otherwise it's just the world's hardest chunk of metal." The kitsune said with a laugh.

"Enough talk, let's go check it out for ourselves."
