Welcome to Permanent Midnight.
I think as humans we always knew that we weren’t alone; that it wasn’t the dark we were afraid of or fascinated by, but what lay within that dark. There was a part of us that believed in the legends and fairytales, the myths of our ancestors. They, the Chimaera, stopped hiding ages ago and our fantasies or nightmares came true. Vampires, witches, faeries, shapeshifters, demons, you name it: they are real.

The Chimaera clans are fighting, choosing sides and making bids for an empty throne, racing to find keys to an ancient prophecy. For the first time in my life I’m afraid of them and afraid for the human race. I guess it’s time to choose sides for everyone. Which side are you on?

Permanent Midnight is a modern supernatural rpg that takes place in NYC. It is a little bit World of Darkness, a little bit Harry Dresden and Nightside, a chock full of Merry Gentry/Anita Blake and a whole lot of fun. The game has been running for around five years and features: romance, violence, political intrigue, mystery, adventure and more. The game is played primarily through yahoogroups. Hey Guys -
Figured I'd drop a message, see if anyone was looking to write something up but didn't have someone to write with. I've a bigger plot waiting to unfold, but it won't be for awhile, so I've got some spare time to kick around with . I'd like to keep busy in the meantime, so if anyone's interested, I'm up for most anything. If yer new and need a buddy to ease you in, no problem. Or if your just sitting around like me, we could pool some ideas and see what we come up with. Just let me know.
