QUOTE
Enchantress’ are a rare breed of magical beings that have been tracked back to the dawn of time. They’re magic is more for show than actual offensive fighting like witches, and many enchantress’ can be found as carnival acts or as modern day magicians. You’re a Level One, and all the explanations about your regulations can be found in the rules. Enchantress can cast spells, brew potions, and scry for other magical beings, so be happy!

As state above, Enchantress’ have been known for their showy powers rather than actual fighting gifts. This isn’t to say that an Enchantress can’t become a mean green fighting machine! Well, probably not green, but you get my idea. Every now and then, an Enchantress will go out and hunt her own personal demons. It’s all up to the specific situation. Now, onto your powers, since I know you’re dying to find them out. We call your gift Enchantment. Such an original title, huh? Well, you should be happy! It’s a great power. You see, all Enchantress’ have this one power in common. This is their beginning power, something that they have to use and to grow. Depending on how the user uses it, the power can evolve into various other abilities. But, that’s in the future, since you’re just a level one. Enchantment is the ability to bring otherwise inanimate objects to life. Ever see one of those magicians who made various objects on the table in front of him begin dancing and moving? Well, Enchantment was probably at work. While this ability is almost like Telekinesis, it should be noted that it is almost the exact opposite. While Telekinesis is worked by sheer force and anger, Enchantment can only be used with tranquility and control.

You’re emotional trigger is the ability to remain calm and focused. This power is somewhat hard to use, since you have to be stable to work this gift. If you’re running scared with your pulse racing, you won’t be able to activate your power. When you do activate your power, the object you are enchanting will be cast in a light green glow. You will then need to bold what you wish the object to do, and it will begin doing it. You don’t need to wait for a Powers that Be post, or a post from the object since that would take far to long. Regardless, you won’t be able to do much with the object. You can enchant it to do it’s own bidding, naturally, but you can’t fling it around like telekinesis. Remember, this ability is about control. Once you enchant something, it will remain in an enchanted state for a total of three posts. After that, you personally will have to wait four of your own posts before using your gift again since it drains you out.

Personality: Firecracker and Spitfire are words commonly used to describe this gal. Zoe is full of energy and hates to sit still for long periods of time, but she does do so from time to time.

She can be rather blunt at times, beating around the bush is a waste of time for her, so be warned, if you ask her for the truth you are gonna get it.

She can be quick tempered and fight like a hellion if she is backed into a corner, but then again, she can be sweet and lovable too when the mood takes her to be.

Boys, be warned, though, she likes the chase and you may have to corner her on the commitment front before she does so. You won't see her cry unless you are that close to her, nor will she discuss private matters in public.

History: Zoe was born in New Orleans Louisiana on August 13, 1983. Yes, the date was a Friday. She is the youngest of five children, sharing the distinction with her twin brother, Zachery. Her father, Ian, is a direct descendant of Henry Morgan, the Pirate, and though he himself is not tied to that past, Ian does have ties to the waterways around the city, having help design the causeways throughout the city. Her siblings names, excluding her twin, are: Jamison, Leslie, and Mark. The family still lives in the house, called Riverview, which was built by her great-great grandfather, Caleb, before the civil war.

Her life was uneventful until she reached the age of fifteen and her powers began to appear. The first manifestation was manipulation of a pencil in detention. The teacher walking up behind her spooked her and caused the pencil to drop to the desk. She kept that hidden from her family, choosing to practice in the peace and quiet of her room, that becoming a necessity once she discovered that peace was the thing she needed to use it to begin with.

She also found a path in studying wicca, and has continued to this day to do so.

The discovery of her power cost her the roof over her head, Ian condemning her and casting her out. She was not down for long though. He skills soon found her a home as an assistant to the famed illusionist Todd McCray. Todd was the one that pushed her to get a college education citing the fact that if anything ever happened to him, she needed to be able to stand on her own two feet. He even taught her his illusions, making her swear an oath to the Brotherhood of Magicians too.

She holds a degree in Communications from the University of Michigan. She has a black cat she named Houdini.

Other Notes: Can speak French. She can also read Latin and French.

QUOTE (Power Log)
Zoe,

Well, it’s nice to see some more good women around here. We were beginning to worry that all the good women in San Francisco had moved elsewhere! Since we know you have been waiting for awhile now, we’re going to make this as quick and painless as we can. Plus, the almighty Powers that be don’t really feel like spending hours on end typing up your life. You’re a first around here, something that we like to call a Enchantress. Enchantress’ are a rare breed of magical beings that have been tracked back to the dawn of time. Now with your magical destiny explained, please create a biography and post it in the correct area. Once you do so, your user rank will be changed and you will be able to post In Character, beginning at this area. Thank you for joining Charmed: A Paige in Time!
