Sitting atop the old weather-worn stone, the angel was deep in thought when he saw the doberman tread by. He supposed if he ever needed a place to hide, this would be good. No one would ever see him with all the statues. He looked around. It was strange how the humans had always though Angels would save them, when in the end it was the Angels that killed them.
In a way they were both the same, Arkanos decided. At least this way, no more humans would be suffering.
He slid off of the stone pedastal, coming to stand somewhere behind the dog, looking to the statue which the dog was staring at. "It amazed the humans too," he said, looking at the statue. "Long ago... but there's nothing left here but dust and bones now. The faith has left this place." He looked over to a tomb to his right. There were so many tombs... so many tombs... and no one to watch over them except stone angels.

I'm getting old, Dyre thought to himself as he heard the voice behind him. My senses are getting dull. This was the second time he failed to notice one so close to him, not something a younger Dyre would have done. He slowly turned his face to look at the voice, only then realizing that it was an angel. So this is an angel burial ground. He thought again silently. Maybe it was the fact that he was an angel that hid him from Dyre’s nose; after all it took him forever to pick up Finn’s scent.
What did he mean humans? Being that Dyre wasn’t raised in any type of civilization he had no idea what a human was. He was also curious as to what he meant by “the faith has left this place.” Dyre was so confused, and his face showed it. What was this man talking about? If this wasn’t an angel burial ground than why was it marked with angels? And what was a human? All these questions rushed through Dyre’s mind at once. So quickly that he didn’t know what to do with them.
But before he could ask anything he had to know who it was he was asking. He slowly turned around completely and took a deep bow before the angel. When he rose his head he announced himself, “I am Dyre, Kato lord.” He said in a powerful, yet humble voice, “and you good angel?” he gave another bow, this one only of the head, not as great as his first.

Arkanos looked down at Dyre, and almost pitied him. He could see he'd confused him, and even though it was hard for him to understand how the dog could be confused, it still made him feel sorry for even saying that. He nodded to Dyre then. A Kato Lord. Arkanos had heard a rumor that both the Aruna and Kato Klans had returned, but he had yet to see either of them untill now.
"Arkanos, Seraphim Angel," he said. "So then, 'Kato Lord', is the rest of your bretheren around?" It was always like someone in control to introduce themself with their title. He didn't mean it with any sarcasm, in fact Arkanos was rarely sarcastic. Even so, he felt it appropriate to address the dog so.
"Lord Dyre... hmm..." He looked around the gravestones carefully, but he didn't see many that looked as though they had been dug by paws nearby. "... perhaps you are visiting someone here? I wouldn't have expected to see anyone her, otherwise. Not many find this place, well, 'homey'. " His dark brown wings were folded neatly against his back, and a gentle wind swept by, ruffling his feathers.

Dyre paied listend carefuly to the angel as he introduced himself. 'Arkanos' was it? he thought to himself. Dyre studied him as he asked him if any other klan members where around, "not to my knowledge," Dyre said to him in the strong yet humble tone, "though for the time being the klan consists of only myself and my daughter." this angel seemed strange to Dyre. though he only knew one other angel to compare him to, this one seemed stiff and distant. though he had also gotten the distent feeling from Finn. maybe it was just somthing that he couldn't understand.
Dyre then addressed Arkanos' second question, "i am visiting no one here exactly," he said looking away, this time his voice trailed off and he too took a more distant tone, "my fallen brothers are buried somewhere that i dare not return, this place reminds me to mourn them." the painful memories of his and Syre's final conquest together. the battle in wolven land that no doubt filled up with wolves again as soon as he left. "wolf's blood draws its kind." he said softly, more to himself to the angel. his scared maw facing almost directly down, his one good ear slowly realaxing, while the mangled bone of his right ear siply wobbled a bit. he didn't have much control over it, even after seven years.
he redirected his attention back at Arkanos, "if your asking me that then i only assume that you too are not visiting ones you've lost, and that this is indeed not an angel burial ground." his voice wasn't so humble this time, after all if this wasn't an angel burial ground than that made this angel suspicious, after all he could be half wolf, he had seen wolves in his life time that could change into angels at will, though he could always smell the wolf on him. though if this one had killed an angel and wore his cloths that would mask his scent. and also explain his current place in a cemetary. "what might you be doing here then? his tone grew cold, even if he had introduced himself as the seraphim, Dyre wouldn't put it past a wolf to lie on such a grand scale.

The angel listened carefully, his brown eyes moving over the Doberman, carefully logging each scar into memory. It was a shame that the wolves had fought the dogs. Originally the Angels were allied with wolves, after all they had destroyed the humans for the wolves. But when the wolves made the dogs into slaves... well, they were no better than the humans. But now it was hard to be solely a peacekeeper. For the most part, Arkanos told the Angels to stay out of it, to only intervene when necessary. After all, they had their own duties to think about, what with everyone looking for the ancestral lands and all.
"No, I don't come for my own. Their spirits are at home, locked away in the safe lands," he said. It may not have been wise to bring up the lands, but he couldn't help himself. "I come for the statues... and the dead." He paused, looking over toward an Angel statue.
"It was once believed that these Angels would protect the spirits of those buried here, to lead them to a safe place..." He lowered his eyes, moving them back to Dyre. "But that was long ago, when the faith was still strong, and the Angels were not killers." Dyre's tone caught him by surprise, but he answered none the less. After doing so, he was somewhat angered by the insolence. He wasn't anything like his distant brother, Seth, but still... to him, this was sacred ground. His fists clenched as his sides, dark shadows drawing up from the graves slowly darkening the place.
"I do as I will," he said threateningly, his brown eyes still on the dog. "You are not one to demand answers from me, man's servant." It was cruel, and unlike him to bring up the long dead past. But he was from a different generation than this dog, and it was hard for him to forget the truth of the past.

A growl emmited from Myori's maws, her lips turned up to reveal her glistening white fangs. Snarling, she stepped out from behind a tree, and walked closer towards the angel, and her adoptive father. Stepping in between them, she turned her blue eyes, dancing with raging fire, towards the angel. "How dare you insult my father?!" Myori hissed, a blood curling growl growing to a higher octave deep in her throat. She crouched, in attack mode, enraged for the insult thrown at her father

Dyre's lips drew back at the angel's insult, servant am I? he thought. The more he talked with this angel the more he disliked him. Maybe it was a bit of a jump to assume this angel was a wolf in disguise but Dyre couldn't afford to simply pass his suspicion off as paranoia. Since he claimed the Kato throne he had been attacked by several wolves all-seeking to end his life and lineage. He stared deeply into the angel’s face, trying to memorize it and his scent, just incase his little hunch was right.
It came as a surprise to him when Myori showed up, he must’ve been spending to much time with her because he had overlooked her scent as just a normal thing in his mind. He noticed the shadows move as the angel clenched his fist, this put Dyre’s mind at ease. He relaxed his stance and ears, and let himself chuckle a little. It then grew into a louder more base filled laughter that echoed in the cemetery. “You can relax Myori,” Dyre said as his laughter calmed down. “All my suspicions have been put to rest, he is indeed an angel, and that means that he is also the seraphim.”
Dyre really couldn’t get to mad after realizing he had been mad, partially because he admired angels, and partially because he didn’t know what a man was. “I apologize for my tone but I could not be sure that your weren’t an enemy, as I’m sure you know my enemies are great and willing to do anything to stop my klan before it takes shape, supporters of the Aruna Klan I suppose.” Is face staring directly into that of the seraphim Arkanos. He hoped that all would be forgiven, he held no bad spirits toward the angel and hoped that he could even be considered an ally.

The brown-black wings spread as the younger female came, growling at him. It was only intinct to do such, just as a dog would raise his back hair and tail to an attacker. They caught the wind well, and could have given him great flight if he had chosen. But instead he turned his eyes to the dog before him. "Father," he thought, his eyes travelling to Dyre.
But before any more could be said, the Kato Lord spoke once more. '...he is indeed an angel...' he had said. It then occured to Arkanos what had happened. Before it had been an annoyance, the insolence. But not before had Arkanos recieved this level of insult. It was one of those times he actually wished Seth was there... well, maybe not. For Seth would have already beheaded the dog and put the head on the temple gates for all Angel-kind to see. So, in the end, maybe it was good his rebellious brother wasn't there.
"You do not intend to tell me that you thought me Nephilim?" Arkanos said, the obvious distaste on his words. "The smell of pure blood is on me, the power of the Ancient Angel within me..." He paused then, taking into consideration the rest of Dyre's words, but still... the insult had hurt him deeply.
"I know well of your plights, dog," he said, somewhat more kindly now. "However, within these broken streets and buildings, I'm sure you'll find that more than the Aruna are your foe's."
His eyes moved to the female. "Speak then, Daughter of Dyre," Arkanos said. "What is your name?... your business on these hallowed grounds?" It was more out of curiousity than necessity that he wanted to know, but none the less he did indeed want to know.

Myori's lips resumed their original postion of covering her white fangs when Dyre told her to relax, but her hackles was still raised, her muscles alert as she eyed the angel. As her father and the angel converesed, she studied the angel, he had wings, of course, seeing as he was an angel, but there was an aura of mysteriousness around him, that Myori could not quite decipher.
When the Angel addresed her, Myori riveted her attention back on him, hackles raised again. "My name is Myori, and that is all you shall need to know, and nothing more. What I came here for, is none of your buisness." she answered shortly, her pale blue eyes flashing. She and the angel had started off on the wrong foot, and Myori wasn't eager to make friends now.
