Long ago the world was whole and humans ruled the earth. They grew in numbers, killing off wolves as they spread like a plague across the earth. To battle this, wolves developed the ability to shift into human form, and thus the werewolf was born.
Years passed, and a new being appeared. Angels, strange and magical guardians, they created a paradise untouched by man, where wolves would be safe: the ancestral lands. Not long afterward, man died from his own greed... wars spreading amongst his tribes.
The dogs, ever faithfull servants to man, did not know how to servive without him. So they struck a deal with the werewolves. The werewolves fed them and taught them how to survive in exchange for the dogs' servitude and protection. Within a few years, nearly all the dogs had become servants to the werewolfs. Eventually the dogs learned though, and when they did, they no longer wished to serve the werewolves. But a deal had been struck, and the werewolves were angered by this.
The dogs began to rebel, and they found out about the ancestral lands. They aimed to take the lands away from the werewolves, and a war erupted between the two species. To quell the fighting, the Angels intervened and locked the ancestral lands away, forever hidden, and released the dogs from the werewolves' deal.
Tensions between the species still run high, and territory is ever so precious now that the ancestral lands are hidden. A few dogs still remain loyal, but others plan to fight. Will the ancestral lands be found? Will you hide them away?... come and find out...
.::Current Setting::. The structures of humans have crumpled and fallen, trees and plants grow across everything made by man, making for a scene full of concrete and nature. Trash and paper blows across the dusty streets in the city. Werewolves have set up small tents or taken shelter in the buildings. Others reside in the forest nearby.
Not many large forests grow, but they spring up where ever there isn't a lot of roads or buildings. To the north of the fallen city, there's a forest where a wildlife park used to be. A river crosses through it, heading toward the city.
Prey is scarce, and suitable land is coveted so fights break out often.

Kato Klan History (Kato Version)
12 generations ago a brave dog warrior by the name of Solif got together a small group of dogs and with that group he intended to the new government type figures and control all other dogs. But after Solif died he was replaced by a more compassionate and caring dog; that instead of controlling his kind was more concerned with helping them prosper. Thus the Kato Klan was created, named after the new ruler Kato. Kato moved the klan to the desert in search on a new land on the other side. Unfortunately Kato was wrong and his klan wandered the desert aimlessly for about 2 years.
After Kato died his eldest son took over the responsibility and he pasted it to his eldest son after that. It was this son, named Rocii, which led the Kato Klan to the spring that started the feud between the Kato Klan and the Aruna Klan. It wasn’t him specifically, a group of scouts that had been sent ahead came to the spring, the story of how was unclear though, they claimed to have been their and then the wolves attacked them but this particular group of scouts had been known for being a rowdy bunch. Either way it ended in a battle between the klans over the spring and who was first to discover it.
The Kato Klan took it as a great victory when the Aruna Klan finally backed down and surrendered the spring and they lived there for any more generations until five brothers where born into the blood line of the Kato lords. There names, in order of oldest, where: Sari, Dous, Kaaz, Yone, and Trit. These brothers all wanted to rule, and Sari being the wisest and true lord decided that the klan would split into five sects, one for each to rule. All the other brothers agreed and the divided up the klan equally. Though there was still the matter of who was to inherit the homeland that there klan had lived on for generations and won their greatest battle. It seemed obvious to Dous, Kaaz, and Yone that Sari should have it but Trit wanted it more than Sari and felt that he deserved it more.
Sari let Trit keep the land and decided that he would move on towards the south. And so all the brothers split and took their followers. Yone moved his klan to the west, Kaaz to the north and Dous to the east. But not to long after the klan split the true lord, Sari, and his entire sect was destroyed. They where attacked by wolves, and when Dous herd this he automatically decided that the Aruna Klan was behind it. It is still unknown who the real culprit was but that didn’t matter to Dous; no he wanted revenge for his brother’s death. He sent a messenger to track down all the other sects with news of their brother’s ambush and death. He intended to wipe out the Aruna Klan for good this time. He moved spread out his klan, which had become considerable in size, along the east and south in hopes of catching the Aruna Klan off guard and out numbering them.
He was joined by only one brother, Trit, who moved his sect down to aid Dous almost instantly after receiving word of Sari’s demise. The two klans began pressing Aruna borders and attacking anyone inside them, be them Aruna or not. Even killing dogs if they appeared to have a connection to the Arunas. Eventually the day came when the Aruna lord, Ryuen, made his way to the borders. This was the day that Dous decided to follow through with his plan of complete Aruna annihilation. He met the lord at the border and engaged him in feral combat. Both klans battled to the death this day. Each one prepared to die if it was necessary. Trit was the one that followed the lord’s son and guard; he was already badly injured from the battle and ended the guard’s life with his own. Dous also lost his life in the battle but was able to take the same from
Ryuen. It is still a mystery what happened to the other two sects of the Kato Klan, but one of Sari’s children, Dyre, was able to escape the slaughter and after learning of his history decided that he would restart his Klan, unfortunately he was not informed of his past until after the great battle fought on the borders of the Aruna Klan.

Aruna Klan History (Aruna Version)
The Aruna Klan was founded by a small band of wolves, led by two brothers named Soran and Tekar, in a desert region far to the north of the city.
Around the same time, or so everyone believes, the Kato Klan was formed by a dog named Solif, in the desert.
Three generations later, during a drought, the Klans each moved to search for water, and during a scuffle between a few of their members, a small battle started over the small spring that they each had found. Neither knows the truth of who found the spring first or who killed the first one during the battle (but they both believe they were there first and the other started the fight)... for three more generations they fought relentlessly over this area.
Eventually the Aruna Klan backed away from the area, moving slightly to the south and took half the Klan to a fallen city they had found (during generation seven) and stayed there for five more generations. Eventually the Lord Ryruen decided to return to his homeland with his 3 month old son Ryo, only to find that the Kato Klan had been pressing on the boarders of the Aruna Klan the entire time. In response the Aruna Klan had attempted to reclaim the spring and an all out war was on between the Klans.
Not far from the spring, was where Lord Ryuen and Ryo resided. One night the Kato Klan sent warriors to distract the Klan while four assasins attempted to kill the Lord and his son. Ryruen stayed behind to help in the battle (and died) and sent a servant to get Ryo away. The servant was killed but Ryo managed to survive.
The Aruna Klan survived with only one member, Ryo.
The Kato Klan survived with more members, but suffered major losses. Determined to exterminate the last threat that remained to them (Ryo and his bloodline) part of the Klan moved south after him.
