Sleepover

[Yoshida Ayumi]

Ayumi continued playing, but noticed that everyone wasn't present. She slowly approached the kitchen where she heard voices and saw Conan and Ai. She simply shrugged and continued the game.

Ayumi glanced to the doctor only to see him scolding the two for whatever they did. She snickered and walked towards them. "Ai-chan, what happened?" She questioned before making her way to the kitchen sink.

"Hakase, I'm thirsty." She said, watching as he poured the mixture down the drain.

[Dr. Agasa]

Agasa looked back at Ayumi and smiled cheerfully at her innocent expression. There were sometimes when he hated these kids, and other times when he loved them.

"Of course Ayumi-chan," he said, washing out the pot that Ai had been making the sleeping concoction in. "What do you want to drink?"

He walked over towards the refridgerator in the kitchen as he spoke to her.

"Tell you what," he said turning to the young girl again. "You go and ask the others what they want and we can all take a little break for a snack and we can watch Yaiba! Don't get too beat up while claiming spots though Ayumi-chan."

[Yoshida Ayumi]

Ayumi was going to reply to the questioned, but stopped once he added on.

"Alright!" Ayumi chirped cheerfully and gave him a smile. She was happy with the idea of taking a small break. She was almost panting from all the acting and action that was held in the living room. She quickly made her way to the living room. The first person she saw was the one she would ask first.

"Araya, do you want something to drink?" She asked politely and gathered the rest so they can hear.

"Hakase said that we will take a break and then after we can watch Yaiba!" A cheer was given from the small girl, as she was ready to take orders.

[Araya]

Araya had stood idly at the side while the others had their fun, feeling oddly out of place as she saw the children around her on a sugar high. She barely noticed it when Dr. Agasa had gone into the kitchen, and instead was concentrating on the kids, wondering how they could get so hyper...and stay hyper at that.

The small blonde had lost herself in her own thoughts when she was startled out of them by Ayumi asking her question. "Sure..." was her reply as she looked at Ayumi with a smile.

Without waiting for a reply, Araya walked to the kitchen, sighing at the same time, "I sometimes wonder how hyper someone can get...."

[Detective Conan Edogawa]

Conan gathered to hear what Ayumi had to say. "No thanks Ayumi. I'm not thirsty at the moment." He looked back to the doctor and decided to enter in. He went by the sink to notice that he was now washing the pot.

"Need help giving them their orders?" He turned to the fridge, opened it, and checked for anything that they would like. "Juice?" He searched further, but it seemed that juice was the right one to choose.

He carefully dragged it out, not wanting to interferer with the other objects inside. Once outside, he closed the door and struggled to get the gallon of orange juice up the counter.

A sigh escaped, swiping his forehead with his hand.

[Tsuburaya Mitsuhiko]

"Hah!! Just try and defeat me Yaiba!! For I am invincible!!"
"Yeah, we'll see about that!!"

Mitsuhiko and Genta were still playing the "Let's act out every episode of Yaiba" game (and were still on the sugar rush bouncing off the furniture and wreaking a bunch of breakable things) but as with all activities involving jumping and running around it was making them thirsty.

Then Ayumi came in ready for drink orders saying after a break, there would be more Yaiba, Mitsuhiko and Genta decided to pause the "battle" (at least for a while...)

"Yeah some water or some juice would be good right now."
"Or maybe more of that soda from earlier"

Mitsuhiko and Genta said giving their own drink preferences.

[Haibara Ai]

Ai grumbled as Agasa put her in the other room, an annoyed expression on her face. Just because I look like a kid doesn't mean he can treat me as one, she thought irritably.

She heared Conan say she should enjoy herself and thought, wondering how she could ever get on a sugar high. She discarded her thought and saw Araya heading into the kitchen. The other girl seemed calm, wich was a relief to Ai. She didn't need another hyper child to wreck the house. Sighing, Ai followed her and Conan into the kitchen.

Ai caught sight of the orange juice and shrugged. She walked over to Agasa and tapped him on the knee. "Hakase, can you get me down a cup? I can't reach," she asked. She sourly wished she was taller.

[Araya]

Araya took a random seat at the table, swinging her legs back and forth. She never remembered ever getting as hyper as these kids did, but she also thought of how her past was so different than theirs as well. She smiled sadly as she thought of this, and shook her head. She couldn't be bothered by her past at the moment, and only continued to stare at the children as they got out glasses for the juice. They seemed to be in a carefree state of mind, and that was the only thing that mattered at the moment, right?

"I guess I'll have some as well," she called, smiling widely. Her feet continued to swing back and forth in the chair as she waited calmly.

[Detective Conan Edogawa]

A smile of succession crossed the young detective's face. He heard Araya's reply and nodded. Conan raced for a nearby chair and dragged it near the countertop. He hopped on and reached for the top cabinet, which held the cups. A sigh escaped when he realized he was short. He got on his tiptoes and reached again.

"Got it!" An accomplished smile was given. He held on to the shelf of the cabinet and reached to grab cups. "Ai, here." Conan gestured his arm slightly with a cup at hand.

Conan then easily took down the amount needed for the group. "One for Genta... Mitsuhiko...." Once he had one for all, he easily descended from the chair. Dragging the chair back he had a cup on the seat.

"Here you are Araya."

Again, the boy went to the counter and took down the carton of juice. He had some trouble getting it across, be he managed. Can't even carry a carton of juice...
