New Addition to the Class

[Tsuki]

::Glancing at the clock on her laptop, Tsuki leaps up, nearly dropping her computer.

"Holy crap! I gotta get moving or I'll be late on my first day of school! Crapcrapcrapcrapcrap!!!"

She shuts her laptop quickly, entering her closet. A few minutes later, she comes out in her school uniform, and runs to the kitchen.

"Crap!" She grabs a slice of bread and stuffs it into her mouth as she snatches an energy bar from the counter, running to the door. Leaving, she locks the door, closing it behind her, and stuffs her laptop unceremoniously into her bag. Unwrapping the energy bar as she runs, she manages to skid to a stop without falling in front of the school. Eating the last of her "breakfast" she rushes into the building, pulling her schedual out of her bag, and looking at it. Slowing her pace, she reaches her first class, and enters just as the final bell rings, singnaling the start of class. The teacher glances at her.

"Ah, you must be Tsuki, the new student, correct?"

Tsuki nods, regaining her breath.

"Ah. We were expecting you. Please, have a seat. Any open seat will do."

Tsuki bows the the teacher, and the class.

"Watashi wa Tsuki desu.(1)"

She glances around, looking for an open seat.::

[Sakura Black]

Sakura looked up from her seat as she saw a girl.

"Hi there, I'm Sakura and you must be Tsuki right." She smiled. "You can sit next to me if you want."

[Tsuki]

::Tsuki smiles, sitting next to Sakura.

"I'm Tsuki. Nice to meet you, Sakura-san."::

[Sakura Black]

"Same here, it's nice to see someone new here." Sakura smiled.

"I hope you like this school."

[Tsuki]

::Tsuki grins at Sakura.

"I'm sure I'll love it here. I'm just glad to be in school. I never thought I'd be so glad to get to class."

She grins again, after stating this.::

::Pulling out her notebook, Tsuki turns her attention to the teacher, smiling to herself as class begins.

'Huh. I used to hate having to go to school, considering I knew half the stuff they tried to teach us back home. Maybe here it'll be different. At any rate, it gives me something to do here... Hey. I wonder... Blake...'

[Blake Hinotama]

Blake arrives outside the classroom, panting heavily, and the teacher looks up.

"Ah, you must be the other new student starting here today, Blake Hinotama, correct?"

Blake nods, trying to catch his breath, and grins at the class.

"B-boku wa Hinotama Blake desu."*

He glances around, looking for a seat. His eyes land on Sakura and Tsuki, and he does a double take as he sees Tsuki. He bows to the class, then makes his way to the empty sear right behind Tsuki, and sits down, setting his bag on the floor.

[Tsuki]

::Looking up sharply as Blake introduces himself, Tsuki supresses a shocked gasp. Her eyes meet his as he glances in her direction, and she watches him as he sits next to her. She quickly scrawls a note on a peice of paper and passes it to him right as the teacher turns to write something on the board.

'If you know Kari Light, then you're who I think you are, and we'll talk after school. I'm Tsuki.'::

[Blake Hinotama]

Blake reads the note, then erases it. Writing some strange symbols on it instead, he passes it to Tsuki. The symbols are as follows:


((That reads as follows, just FYI, but only Blake and Kari/Tsuki can read it: Right. After class, then?)

[Tsuki]

Making a very slight and swift hand gesture, Tsuki crumples the paper and shreds it unobtrusively, and stuffs the bits into her pocket. She quickly looks to the front as the teacher turns around, and begins a lecture, during which she promplty begins to take notes.

[Blake Hinotama]

::Sighing, Blake takes out a note book, and begins to sketch something, tuning the teacher out. He doodles something that looks almost like blue prints. Also, it has very advanced physics formulas noted on the sides. He stares blankly at the paper for a minute, and the teacher taps him on the head with a book.

"Blake, are you paying attention?"

Starting, Blake grins. "Er, yeah!"

"Then please answer the question."

"Er, could you repeat that?"

"You have a right triangle. One angle is measure X. Then side adjancent to X is 3 meters long. The hypotenuse is 5 meters long. What function would you use to find the measure of angle X?"

"Cosine inverse, of course" Blake looks rather bored as he answers it.

"Er, yes, right. So, then, what is the answer, Mr. Hinotama?"

Without even glancing at her he sighs. " The answer is 53.13010235 degrees. Very simple problem. Next time, please give me something a bit harder."

The teacher simply stares at Blake, shocked at the speed with which he answered.:;

Tsuki grins, watching the class stare at Blake. She ##### her head at him, thinking.

'Hmmm... Well, now IS as good a time as any to say something to him...'

"Hmmm... Seems somethings never change, eh, Blake?"
