Thats right! The map announced as "Meadow", a mildly stupid sounding working title, is now in beta with a real name! Faunus...which means something in some language i think...ask Primrose. The announcement post for this map can be found here.

Its been so long since i wrote one of these...hows it go again? Oh right...
I am proud to say that everything appears to work fine in the alpha testing, the only thing I know for sure is wrong is the spikes...which succeeded in killing everything that comes near them without discretion, which is not exactly what i had in mind...so i removed them for the Beta1 release. And yes, that is a Beta1. I don't know how i managed to jump from alpha to Beta2 on Blockfort and Tahhara...but i didn't this time.

On a more serious note, I am not uploading the beta versions of maps anywhere from now on because it is very unprofessional to have 72 people, most of whom have no idea about the beta runs or anything, have an unfinished version of a map you plan to release soon, which is sadly what happened when I uploaded Tahhara Beta 3-5 to FileShack (my fault really). Thankfully they removed the beta version when i uploaded the final. Still tho, if you want to help test this map, the file will be available only through us, so post here or email OddModsTeam@yahoo.com for a copy. Help test, be a part of a map's development (its a beautiful process from your point of view, unless you have actually seen the blood sweat and tears that go into these things).

Looking into the domain of credits...Concept and concept art by Primrose, Original Static Meshes by mr_smith (and there were pleanty of those), and of course mapping and programming by Dorthu.

A small-scale beta test of this map yesterday (4/11) with dorthu proved its effectiveness and difficulty. After two intense runs, with one win on each team, i have personally concluded that this map is awesome.

small scale tests with teams of 7 bots and one player aside, this map will undergo it's first real beta test on Sunday April 15th, approx 1-2 pm. If u wanna be a part of it, post here or email us at OddModsTeam@yahoo.com, well send u the map. And be warned: COMBAT IS INTENSE. AND AWESOME. Props to Primrose for the layout.

No link will be available for this map until it is released for good. If you would like a copy of the beta version of the map, email us at OddModsTeam@yahoo.com for a copy of the beta map. (We only do this because we do not want to distribute the beta version to the public before it is tested).

Wanted to let everyone know we are still alive, we have some technical issues stopping us from properly testing it, so we cannot release it just yet. Sorry for the inconvenience. As I have been saying though, either post here or email OddModsTeam@yahoo.com if you would like a copy of the beta version.

I wrote the description for this map. Now it is complete. Yay! Now we can play on it. Maybe some server will actually want my map. I hope so.
