Description: Finnlock stores props far too close to his mold making compounds
Finnlock - October 4, 2010 03:03 PM (GMT)
SHOULD these somehow happen to fall into a vat of mold making compound and somehow "
reproduce" themselves and like wayward kittens should need a home... I might be willing to
adopt them.

Look, it seems to me you're dodging around this whole "
Adpotion" thing, so I'll willing to make it a swap....
I have some things, that *
IF* they should fall into a vat of mold making compound and reprodouce themselves, I would be willing to trade said items for some of yours....
I would of course most likely need to find homes fo the other *
unwanted* items which I would be willing to send to good homes of members of this forum...

So.....?

Capt. - October 6, 2010 02:19 AM (GMT)
Bloody Hell, Finn... you weren't joking??
Alright... I'll be honest- I don't normally bother with this stuff but I'll look into it and I'll work something out for you.
I promise.
Eagles and buttons, right?

Lol, I guess I was to sublte after all.
Yes, I want some of those damn sexy buttons, and the other sexy bits you have been making, like that aquila eagle buckle you modded...
So sexy, must have! :P
Kommissar - October 6, 2010 09:41 AM (GMT)
damn finn, how'd you find the smaller skull pendant? i've been looking for a wayne england skull like that for awhile, all ive got is the much smaller and much larger versions, imp guard pin and belt buckle respectively.
Finnlock - October 6, 2010 02:36 PM (GMT)
Through a trade I did. Stuff is getting harder to find. I have some more items on the way which I will have to store precariously near my mold making compounds.....
Finnlock - October 11, 2010 05:10 PM (GMT)
Also adding this buckle to my collection of things stored to close to those pesky compounds...

Hey Finn,
I am happy to mold and cast those for you and make some available for adoption. E-mail me and we can work out the logistics.
Brash

... Do you take eternal souls as payment?
Kommissar - October 13, 2010 07:20 PM (GMT)
ive had an aquilla buckle for some time now, i love it, but mines a soft pewter, so they are very delicate
Finnlock - October 13, 2010 11:44 PM (GMT)
New items... Chaos belt buckle and a purity seal
Capt. - October 14, 2010 01:39 AM (GMT)
I really like the purity seal... but it''s disturbs me that this thread has obviously become a "wish list thread" instead of what it started out as... can we sperate these two obviously very different subjects?
Finnlock - October 14, 2010 02:45 AM (GMT)
You are right, I'm sorry. Your thread is yours, my appologies.
Seraphim - October 14, 2010 03:15 AM (GMT)
Would you like me to split it? I can move the pie-in-the-sky wish list section to General Costuming if you like.
Capt. - October 14, 2010 03:25 AM (GMT)
No worries Finn. It's obvious the wish list is definately something to hold on to... so yes, split it please. Many Thanks. :)
Finnlock - October 14, 2010 03:27 AM (GMT)
You can,but I for one I'm done posting off topic stuff in here, but if you think it will clean up the flow of the thread that's cool. It's up to Capt.
Kommissar - October 14, 2010 08:35 AM (GMT)
what is that purity seal from? is that a new release? or something older..?
is it a bulldog buckle production?
and is it a buckle, pin or something else?
jackdoud - October 14, 2010 02:02 PM (GMT)
A friend of mine was using this steel shift knob for the end of his chainsword. Before he attached it it fell into some silicone at my place:
Finnlock - October 14, 2010 11:58 PM (GMT)
Very nice Jackloud, that looks like a great cast, I may need to take to you about "addopting" one of those skulls...
Kommie, I don't know about the seal, it's strange...I'm not even sure it's 100% a GW product because it has no markings. It has this wierd screw in the back which gose through another plate..I have no clue what it was used for.
I added these tonight....the Angel thing is a Belt keeper you hang your keys on and has a big loop thing on the back of it.

Still a few pieces I am looking to get my mits on!
Finnlock - October 16, 2010 12:06 AM (GMT)
I took the seal apart...I think the eagle will make for some nice bits...

wookieegunner - October 16, 2010 01:55 AM (GMT)
I think the Fleur de Lie with skull would look great in a purity seal.
Kommissar - October 16, 2010 08:23 AM (GMT)
that's just strange.
where on earth did you find it?
i've quested long and hard with the rogue traders of Ebay to find my small collection, your's would make a planetary governor proud
Finnlock - October 16, 2010 06:26 PM (GMT)
I got it from a guy in England. He just said he had it kicking around and didn't know much about it.
I think it must be some kinda GW product, perhaps a prototype? The workmanship is very high and the level of detail is on par with the other products. But there are no markings...and the way it's constructed is odd, it's not a pin or buckle or badge. It's fairly heavy so I can not even guess as to what it would be used for.
*shurg* I don't know, anyone else have any ideas?
Capt. - October 16, 2010 08:53 PM (GMT)
It's a badge... the Soviets used to use screw fittings on their breast awards, a bit like the US Army cap badges. that's what this looks like.
I want it!
Finnlock - October 16, 2010 09:01 PM (GMT)
Capt. I'm sure we can work something out, if you know what I mean.....
Capt. - October 16, 2010 09:38 PM (GMT)
Finnlock - October 17, 2010 04:03 AM (GMT)
oops...

New additions to the club. I'm thinking the skull is the perfect size for buttons.
Also, i found out what the Seal is from. It's from a plaque given to GM staff, should be mounted on a marble base with the persons name, that's why it had a screw on the back, to allow it to be mounted onto the marble base.
Anyway, the new stuff..

Still looking to score some more Inq items..*sigh* if I had only forseen the need for this stiff 10 years ago...oh well :)
Finnlock - October 19, 2010 02:56 AM (GMT)
I hope to be making some skull buttons this week. I don't know how many I'll be making "for personal use". PM me if you want to know any info about them.
Djinn - October 19, 2010 03:36 AM (GMT)
Any of you happen to have any awesome maltese crosses laying around? I have a hell of a time finding them here in Hawaii, and the ones I can make just don't look the same..
That skull has always looked strange to me, the proportions are.. wrong.. maybe its alien, guess that would make sense.
Finnlock - October 19, 2010 03:58 AM (GMT)
How big a cross? I have a few small ones about 1"... I'll post a pic later.
Yes, the skull dose look "odd", but it is the "offical" Warhammer skull so I go with it.
I got a nice skull belt buckle from a bicker store that looks a little more "normal" if that's what you're after..

Finnlock - October 26, 2010 11:12 PM (GMT)
muhahaha..*cough* *cough*..hahahaha!

Hey Brash, send me an email
Capt. - October 27, 2010 02:54 AM (GMT)
Very nice...
I know I need to pull my finger out- but I've been a little busy recently... I've not even worked on my Iron Guard this last week!
I will be in touch soon though.... :)
Finnlock - October 27, 2010 07:57 PM (GMT)
Here is a group shot of items collected thus far...more on the way...
As I said before, if you have any questions about this project please PM me.
