The Whomping Willow
Although it may seem like an idyllic setting for an afternoon picnic, the willow is anything but tranquil. With a temper that could rival a pack of Norwegian Ridgebacks, this piece of foliage’s bite is worse than its bark.

The Forbidden Forest
The forest is off limits to the students of the school. It’s depths are home to such recluses as giant spiders and centaurs, as well as other ghastly creatures you would be most unfortunate to run into. You best hope to Merlin that Filch doesn’t find you out there, although there are things far worse to come across.

The Lawns
Enjoy the verdant grounds in the spring and summer, full of trees and flowers in bloom. In the fall, breath in the crisp breeze, and wade through the leaves that coat the ground. During the winter, fancy an enchanted snowball fight. Whatever the time of year, the lawns are always a source for amusement.

The Quidditch Pitch
Dust off your ominoculars, and venture forth to the Quidditch pitch, to cheer on your house team, and be amazed by a brilliant game of cunningness, and brute strength. If you fancy a bit of practice, why not toss a quaffle around? Who knows, you may even have a bit of chaser blood in you.

The greenhouses house a wide range of flora and fauna, ranging from a harmless tulip, to a lethal strain of devil’s snare. With only the foliage to keep them company, it has been said that the greenhouses are a popular destination for couples.

Hogsmeade
The quaint little village of Hogsmeade, is the perfect destination for a weekend vacation. Drop by the three broomsticks, for a warm butterbeer, or make a purchase of dumgbombs at Zonkos joke shop, for those with a little mischief. Honeydukes is home to Drooble’s Best Blowing Gum, or for the more adventurous; Chocolate Covered Cockroaches. Whatever your fancy, Hogsmeade is sure to please.

Knockturn Alley
Do you dare venture down Knock Turn Alley? The street is littered with peddlers and hags, selling such grotesque and rare oddities as Vampire Teeth or Unicorns Blood. Taverns and pubs also spot the area, although it shares no resemblance to the pleasant atmospheres of the Leaky Cauldron or The Three Broomsticks.

The Wizarding World
Explore other areas of the wizarding world, from the renown Ministry of Magic, to the stands of the World Quidditch Stadium. Hopefully you don’t find yourself in one of the beds of St. Mungo’s. If you do, don’t fret, Britain boasts to have some of the best mediwitches in the world!
