As Dorian Caesar stalked the streets of Vindicate, he came upon a housing community. One of the houses in particular was playing loud music that the merman could not clearly understand that well. The sounds that were being made in this day in age were horrendous. Walking to that house, the brunette could see a lot of people on the front porch and many more inside through the windows. For the time being, Dorian decided to simply observe the goings on so he could get a better feel of how people lived now.

The long walk to Chelsea's place in the city district was longer then it had ever been before. Hunter had actually teared up a few times, but he'd done his best to choke it all down. The brunette was doing this for Scott's own good. There was no telling what Brock and the others would eventually do to the blonde if they'd kept a friendship going. The last thing that the cowboy ever wanted was for someone that cared about him to end up hurt in the process.

After making a call to his mother to let her and his grandmother know that he would be at the party for the night and would be careful, Hunter hailed for a cab, per his mother's request. Since he hadn't gone home to get his truck, it made sense anyway. Getting robbed or perhaps killed because of the ever growing crime wave in the city would not have been good at all, and so for the second half of the trip, Hunter was in the back of a cab.

Upon arriving at the party, Hunter stepped out, paid the driver and started on his way up the stairs of the porch, not taking notice of the man on the other side of the street that was watching the entire goings on of the party. Seeing Tommy, Hunter went directly over to him, thankful that he didn't have to enter the house yet, and they slapped hands.

"What's shakin, Hunter?" Tommy asked.

"Not much really," Hunter replied. "I'm just trying to get by."

"Are you alright, man?" Tommy asked. "I mean, you seriously look like you were crying or something."

"Nah, I'm good," Hunter said.

Tommy's expression showed that he wasn't so sure. "Well, anyway, I'm glad you made it without having to be drug here. Brock was just talking with Kyle about making sure to go find your ass if you weren't here in about an hour. So you made good timing."

"I guess that makes me lucky then," Hunter said sarcastically before crossing his arms and leaning on the railing of the porch.
