[Dorian Caesar]

"If you really want the past to remain in the past, then you'll let me walk out of this mansion right now and never try to come after me," Dorian said. "As far as I'm concerned, the past is most definetely the past, because I do not want to be your little slave anymore. I want to be free again."

[Brianna Contessa Consualla]

"Freedom?" Brianna asked in shock. "You want freedom? I bring you back from the dead and this is the thanks I get? You just want to be allowed to leave me so that I'll still be all alone? I've given you a second chance to live so that we can work through our problems, and what do you want to do? You want to just up and leave me? Let me guess. You want to find your blasted brother so that you can be reunited with him after all these centuries and live happily ever after with him while I rot all alone! How dare you!"

[Dorian Caesar]

"How dare me?" Dorian asked moving toward her. "HOW DARE ME!?" he yelled right into her face. "You have no right to speak to me in this way, Brianna! You took my life away from me, and all because I made you fall in love me so I could get a little action. I would've done anything to have a piece of your ass back then, but I had no idea that I'd end up being your slave after that! If I'd known that was going to happen, I would've stayed clear away from you. You kept me from returning to those I loved, and then you killed me when I tried to get away. Of course, I tried to have you killed, but that's beyond the point. You were a monster then, and you're a monster now. The only difference is that you've become pure evil."

[Brianna Contessa Consualla]

The hurt was clear and evident on Brianna's face as she turned away from Dorian and moved away from him, crossing her arms again as tears came to her eyes. "It's been a long time since I've been brougnt to tears, Dorian. You and my mother were the only ones that were ever successful at doing so, and here you've done it again... Fine. If you won't give me a chance to change for you, then just leave." She looked back to him. "But to show you good spirit, in hope that you might come back to me, I'm going to change your skin tone for you so you don't look dead. The last thing we need is for anyone to question you on what's happened to you."

Brianna pulled up her hands and let out a quick burst of energy toward Dorian, causing his skin to turn into an instant tan and she also threw in some civilian clothes as well. She knew that Dorian couldn't go out in public naked. That would've caused problems as well. "There you go... Better then sunlight... You won't look all zombiefied anymore... Zombies aren't common in this city, so it wouldn't seem right for one to suddenly show up out of the blue... The spell won't wear off unless I personally tell it to do so, so you won't have to worry about coming back here just to get me to put the spell back again. You're free to go." She turned away from him again and just allowed the tears to flow.

[Dorian Caesar]

Dorian looked his new skin color over and then looked to the turned away Brianna and sighed. "Thank you, Brianna. This means a lot. I still feel dead on the inside, but hopefully that'll wear off and things will be different. I'd like to believe that you can change, but I don't know for sure if that's really possible for you. I'll be in touch though eventually. I have to get used to this new world, and I'll need Sherias for that. You cannot get jealous of us and try anything. I will know it's you."

Dorian turned and walked out of the laboratory, trying to find the exit of the mansion as the place was huge. However, his real problem was how he was going to find Sherias. The boy was much younger last he'd saw him. There would be no way that he'd be able to recognize his younger brother. He could only hope there'd be a way. After finally stumbling upon the front door, Dorian exited and made his way toward the city.

[Brianna Contessa Consualla]

Brianna was at a loss of what to do. She had lost Dorian all over again, but the only thing she could do was tell herself that at least he was alive and there was a chance that he might come back to her. It was a long shot, but it was the best thing that she had, given the circumstances. The only thing she could do for the time being was to try to figure out something to do with the rest of her day to keep her occupied. Nothing seemed to be coming to her though. She simply wanted to go back to bed and cry the remainder of the day away, but Brianna knew that would do her no good. She moved over to the bookcase and took a couple books off the shelves and moved to a chair, sitting down. She began to read over some spells and such to see if any of those would give her some insight on what she could do for the rest of the evening.

Brianna grew tired of reading spells, so she placed the book down on a table and stood up, pacing slightly as she tried to decide what to do. Obviously, boredom had overtaken her, and there wasn't much she could really think to do for the moment. All she could think to do was just go down to the Yaht Club for a while. She did have a membership there, but then again, she was pretty much tricked into joining by all those old women that thought that everyone that lived in a mansion in Vindicated just HAD to join the club.

She rolled her eyes as she continued pacing. Briann didn't like being anything like the normal people of the city... Then again, she didn't know for sure who was normal and who wasn't. She didn't have a power dar it seemed, so trying to figure out who was in power and who wasn't was just a difficult thing for her to do. It would've been nice if she knew which people had powers and which didn't know. She would be able to put together an army of super powered beings so she could take the city by force. That would've been interesting.

A large, evil smile crept on her face as she thought about that. Taking the city by force would've been very interesting indeed. She was't sure how she'd accomplish it for sure, but the again, she was Brianna Contessa Consualla. She very well could've been the most powerful being in the entire world. Taking over wouldn't be too difficult, and it wasn't like she had anything better to do... Besides playing bingo with the old women at the Yaht Club...

Finally giving in, she cast a spell that changed her clothes into something that would be presentable to the normal people and walked out of the lab, making her way to the exit of the house. She would go have a little humanly fun before starting on her ultimate scheme. Perhaps that would make Dorian love her agian. Being in power was the all time ultimate, and she would show Dorian what she was all about... But for now, she would play bingo...
