I dont have anything against homosexuals, however I do have a problem with those that rub it in ya face and use it as an excuse to publicly announce their sexuality. (aka various mardi gra's around the world).
The other issue I cant stand is TV shows. At the moment we have many lifestyle/reality shows airing on tv, and all of them seem to have a token gay couple that always end up playing on the fact that no gay has ever won due to being gay. Thems be the ones I would like to slap around. -------------------- |

I don't give a d*mn what they do privately. But when they make it public and hae those "gay pride" parades... That's just taking it too far.

I totally agree.
They should be able to marry. There is no bloody reason not to let them. They should stop making it obvious, though. Telling everyone and such. Like more or less what 2 the Ranting Griffon said, straight people don't go up to random people and tell them about their sex life (or at least I wouldn't think so). It's not something I want to know, either. If it's in a discussion or something, that's fine, but I don't want someone randomly telling me about what they do... -------------------- I pledge allegiance to the band of Japan and Hello! Project

I'm all for it. When people say "rub it in our faces" or "they don't have to tell everyone about their sex lifes" seems odd to me. People do what they want to do. Gay people want to hold hands and kiss just like stright people. The gay marches is a little much for me but hey, if you don't like it but suport gay rights, don't watch it. I'm not gay but it pisses me off when people treat homosexuals different. People are people, we are all different.

It’s illogical to ban marriage between gay couples.

Which makes you wonder why our current Pres. thinks it's wrong... When everybody (at least everybody here) thinks that they can and should, then why doesn't he figure this out? What a dumbf*ck!

Yeah I'm in a college human sexuality class and everyone in my class suports gay rights and for them to marry. My teacher said that "your generation has shown great improvement on acceptence to the homosexual community" and I think it is true. We have become more accepting and supportive of gay rights because they are people just like us.

Bush doesn’t want gay rights because of his religious beliefs.

I'm not gonna vote because I don't think gays should die, I just find it hard to accept homosexuality. To me it just seems...I dunno. It's a touchy subject. For people to love each other is great but... Do whatever you want I guess.

Lets face it baseing it on what that ego-maniacle war monger Bush (sorry I just hate that SOB so much... gives Americans a damn bad name) is pretty stupid cause anyone in the world with half a brain knows he is a total prat with very few brain cells.
Still to respond (and make this interesting Heck you try walking down the street wearing nothin but a g-string (thong) with ya missus wearing similar, stopping to dry root on every street corner and see how long it takes the cops to pick you up for indecent exposure or lude Behaviour. I give it 15 mins tops. Gays however get away with doin it on mass EVERY year based solely on the fact that they have different sexual prefrences and that is just total bulls$#t in my book. -------------------- |

Aye, what Tequilla said is what I meant
Here's a site that I found rather interesting... http://www.bidstrup.com/marriage.htm From what I remember, I completely agree with this site. I'm going to use the help of this site to write a column in our school newspaper on this subject -------------------- I pledge allegiance to the band of Japan and Hello! Project

Are you talking about gay people doing this every year at a parade? or are you saying gay people do this all the time? I know a lot of gay people. They don't dress slutty or anything and are nice people. If you are talking about parades, what about a lot of general parades that get out of hand with lude behavior (like showing your chest for some beeds). Many people have an impression of homosexuality on TV which I think is not a good impression for the areas of the US (like the south) who are very agenst gay marrage. My gf is in the south and she does not know one person in the south that supports gay marrage. And that pisses me off. It is one thing to be a little uncomfy about homosexuality, people can like and dislike what they want to, but because you are a little uncomfy about it, doesn't give you the right to take away other peoples happiness. I like in CA and everyone I know is for gay marrage. I guess many people, like myself, think that people should be treated the same even if there sexual preferance is different. |

Hmmm... indeed a touchy subject.
***My opinion: Homosexuals should all create an island. They can all live peacefully there for a few years, then other nations of the world can use that island for testing of their nuclear weapons. |
