This is definitely a good series considering it only has two volumes and a "Diary" third volume. The story follows Kei whos is a freshman in high-school. However Kei is 18 years old because he fell into a coma for three years and while timewise he has aged, his physical appearance was not altered. He suffers from a disease that he calls "stagnation" which is like the hulk version of an anxiety attack. Anyway, Kei is out viewing stars one night when he spies a UFO coming down. Upon inspection he sees a female figure emerge from the UFO and runs away. The next day he discovers that his new teacher Mizuho Kazami is in fact the alien he saw the night before. Through numerous circumstances he is forced to try and conceal Ms.Kazami's identity and to do so he marries her. Through thick and thin these two get along as well as have arguments just like any normal couple. For $20 it's kind of hard to beat for a two volume manga series.


Now as for the "Diary" 3rd volume. This isn't actually a manga but it offers A LOT more background information on the characters and helps to fill in the gaps left in the mangas. This is a straight left-to-right typed book with a few pictures thrown in from time to time. However, the last two chapters go from like a "15+ Older" rating to "18+ Older". From Ms.Kazami's mother teaching a student the art of giving oral sex, to Kei and Mizuho actually getting it on, it'll definitely surprise you. It kinda threw me off for a minute. It was like:
"Holy crap, they actually had their characters do the deed in a young adult manga. These guys really went out on a limb..."


If you buy the two volume manga series, buy the diary book as well. It's only like $7.50 so it's not a big expense. This is a very good buy.
