I love this anime! Sucks for you as Vol.1 was just released stateside! I've got the full TV series, OVA, and Movie as imported fansubs but I'll be collecting the domestic ones as well. The DUB suks major monkey nuts but the SUB is very good. This anime follows no storyline but more of a timeline and the not-so-average everyday events of a group of high-school girls and their teachers. From a case of the Hiccups, to the Sports Festival, to Summer Break, everything about school and everyday life is covered in a hilarious fashion in this anime. If you'd like a copy of the Series, OVA, and Movie I'll be making copies and I'll be happy to mail them out to you. Note that these disks will not play on a PS2 or X-Box as they are DVD Video disks. Here's a list of characters and a brief description.

Chiyo-Chan
The cute 10yr old prodigy child in highschool. Little Miss Perfect. She's sweet and absolutely adorable. I feel bad for here at times tho.
Osaka
The transfer student from...well, Osaka. Her real name is Ayumu. She's a complete airhead and completely clueless about what goes on around her. Easily my favorite character.
Yumi
The glasses wearing know-it-all. She's constantly trying to keep Tomo out of trouble.
Sakaki-San
The beautiful, athletic super girl who is almost every girls idol at the school. She stacked and is actually a real sentimental girl at heart. She also has an obsession about cats but she can never get near one with getting bitten. Kind of sad actually...
Tomo-Chan
The super energetic, loud mouth girl who thinks she can do anything but is always proven wrong. She's been Yomi's "friend" since elementary school.
Kaorin
The young girl who has strange fantasies about Sakaki. I'm not sure if it's like an idol worship or if it's...you know. ....moving on.
Kagura
Sakaki's "rival". She's super athletic and likes to challenge Sakaki at every sporting event. Very tomboyish.
Chihiro
You really don't see Chihiro very often so I can't say too much about her. Pretty average I guess.
Nyamo-Sensei
The P.E. teacher. Pretty normal in her own right. She is very helpful with the girls and is always trying to keep Yukari out of trouble. Also a very good sex-ed teacher when she's drunk.
Yukari-Sensei
This teacher graduated high-school but never left. So she became a teacher. She teaches English but it usually turns out to be a different subject. She's very immature and likes to drink and sleep a lot. More of a little girl than a teacher.
Kimura-Sensei
The perverted Literature teacher. He is a good natured guy at heart...just a pervert (some of you can relate). Very odd-looking... and he acts even wierder.
Mr.Tadakichi
Chiyo-Chan's dog is a nice dog. Sakaki likes Mr.Tadakichi and she usually walks with him and Chiyo in the afternoon.


I think that's it about it for the main cast except for some side characters. If I missed anyone feel free to remind me. NOW GO BUY THIS ANIME!!!!

This is a pretty good anime but at times it gets very slow and just, weird. You have to know a lot about japan and the culture to get many of the jokes/weird things in the anime. Many people thought that this anime would not have been licnesed because it is so heavely, japanese. I think this is a good anime also so I would also rec. this anime to open minded, people who like, very random, very weird anime. Also the char. desines are pretty cute too.

It's a very cute series, but I actually got a little bored watching it. Don't get me wrong, it's okay, It's just not my taste.
