hi All,
Some stupid questions but where are battle replays saved? Secondly does the game make a logfile after an online battle which details which units were selected etc? if so where is that saved? Thanks |

The games keep a log, it is in the log folder. Battle replays if you save them are in the replay folder in your napoleonic total war folder.

Just in case anyone else has had the same problem:
A while ago I had mighty great trouble finding my logfiles. There was no logfile folder anywhere in my Rome Total War folder. While Making some battle maps on the editor I noticed that they weren't in the folder either, but they were definately in the game. A search that included non-indexed, hidden, and system files revealed that Vista had another whole set of Program Files for various programs; my maps and logfiles were here. The path was C:\Users\(your user)\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War Unfortunately you cannot use the explorer to find these folders because it doesn't show the hidden/non-indexed files. I just made a shortcut to the relevant folder. At any rate, if you have Vista it is highly possible you will have this problem. Badger and myself spent a great many posts agonising over how to solve this so I thought I'd let everyone know. And hopefully no one else has already or I'll feel silly. -------------------- ![]() |
